Introduction:
This design note presents the design of roof structure for Entries 3 of Amraiwadi Station. The roof structure consists of design
of Base plate, Columns, Rafter beams and Purlins.

Summary of Design
The details of various members used in design are:
a) The purlin section used are Z sections with 100 mm depth & 2.4 mm thickness placed @ 670 mm (Approx) c/c each.
b) The column sections used are Rolled pipe of 150 NB Pipe (with O.D 165.1mm) 5.4 mm thick, with 300X300X12 mm base plate.
The column are fixed at base with base plate connection
c) The main rafter beams are SHS sections of 132X132X5.4 mm
