2.1.1.9 To protect the reinforcement bar from corrosion for substructure & foundations including
pile, pile caps, a coating of “Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating” shall be provided as per IS
13620:1993.
2.1.1.10 The Contractor shall plan his design & construction in such a way that the existing/ proposed
foot over bridge / skywalks at various locations are not disturbed. However, wherever any
modification to the FOB’s are required, the same shall be carried out after obtaining
approval of the Engineer. The cost of such modifications shall be included in Lump sum
price Schedule ’A’.
2.1.1.12 Micro silica conforming to ASTM C1240 at 5% to 10% of cement volume as admixture in
concrete grade M-40 and above where OPC is used shall be provided considering
environmental condition of Mumbai.

2.1.1.16 All entries and exits of metro station shall be planned as per site condition. Bidder may take a
note on it and bid/quote accordingly.
2.1.1.17 Bidders to take note of proposed solid cross over ramp at Bhanindar Pada for which
integrated GAD (i.e. Solid ramp and metro viaduct) preparation is part of the scope.
Please note that detailed design and construction same will be done by others and not the
part of the scope.
2.1.1.18 The construction of pier and pier cap at the start of the package towards Kasarwadavali
(Chainage 31872.088. m) is not in the scope of this Contract. The load of the viaduct of the
standard span.
Starting from Chainage 31782.088 m shall be informed to the contractor of adjacent package.
The Design and construction of pedestal, bearings and shear restraining devices at start of
the package towards Kasarvadvali [Chainage 31782.088 m] Station are in the scope of this
Contract.
(i) Detailed survey of the alignment for viaduct, Geotechnical / soil investigation at every pier
location, utility checking, fixing an optimized span configuration avoiding shifting of utilities as
per Contractor’s design subject to the obligatory requirements as shown in the tentative GAD.
For utility identification, excavation to required length and depth (including strutting as per site
conditions) shall be undertaken as per requirement of utility owning agency.
(ii) Alignment of GAD shown in the Tender drawings are tentative. Further development and
finalisation of alignment is in the Contractor’s scope based on the details shown in the Tender
