Lemonade Queen

One warm January night, Coco, Patience and Tilly were finishing basketball
practice. They were sweaty, hot, and bothered. Tilly and Coco were cooling down
while Patience unstrapped her sore ankles.
Coco was explaining to Tilly how one day she will be the best,
“I will one day dominate the court, slam like Jordan and steal like Butler!” said
Coco.
“Oh Coco, you will never dominate or slam. You're so small like an ant.” laughed
Tilly.
They girls laughed and laughed because they both knew Coco was too small to
slam!
All the while, Patience was listening to their chat and she really wanted to fulfill
Coco’s dream. Patience and Coco are BFFS and would do anything for each other.
Patience knew that Coco had a one on one tomorrow against a very skilled and tall
girl, Tilly! Then it came to her, a light bulb idea, a terrible yet brilliant. Patience
was going to lock Tilly in the old boys' den! The stinkyest place ever!
That night, when everyone was gone, Patience and Tilly went down to the den.
Patience said her brother had left his shorts in there. Once Tilly had gone in,
(because Patience did not want to), she locked the door shut! Patience was very
ashamed, but it was worth it, right?
Coco was very nervous to verse ‘Tilly,’ but she would do her best! Patience came
to pick up Coco. Patience was quiet on the way which concerned Coco. Once they
got there, Tilly was nowhere to be seen. All Coco could see was a tiny U10s
player.
“I thought I was playing Tilly?” Coco questioned,
“She’s probably hiding from me!”
Meanwhile, Tilly was in agonizing pain because of the size of the den, even Coco
could not fit! The smell was horrendous! While enduring this Tilly was plotting a
revenge plan to back Patience.
“why would she do this?”
“I did nothing”
Back on court, Coco was sizing up her opponent when the young girl let out a cry
“ Yo Patience, WHERE IS MY LOLLY FOR DOING THIS?”
Coco did her famous death stare and that rooted Patience to the spot. Then a loud
SSCCRREEAAMM came and that set off the alarm!! The girls sprinted to the den
and Patience tried to explain but Coco would not listen. Patience opened the door
and they saw Tilly who was as pale as a ghost!!
Tilly clambered out and started to rant at Patience. After two minutes, Tilly had
nothing left and she was tired, Patience was sad and sorry, and Coco was confused.
After a bit of silence, the girls relaxed and made up with nice cold lemonade and a
game of bump!
