was established in 1999 as a joint venture
with Jiangsu Baosheng group. The
company is now one of the most successful
EHV/HV cable systems suppliers in the
Chinese market with a total investment
of over USD 70 million. Equipped with
state of the art production and testing
facilities, Prysmian Baosheng has a high
quality product range that includes:

manufacturing unit in Baoying will be almost
doubled.
In addition to cables, Prysmian Baosheng is
also able to offer a range of different value
added services to its clients; it can supply
and install a comprehensive range of both
medium and high voltage accessories, up
to 500 kV; it can provide a system design
and/or installation design service for
underground power cable applications;
it can also offer a complete turnkey cable
system service whereby we design,
manufacture, install, test and commission

Prysmian Tianjin Cables Company Limited
established in 1995. In 2007, the company
moved to Xiqing Economic Development
Area, Tianjin. The new plant occupies
around 60,000m2, of which 20,000m2
workshops covered area. Strongly
positioned in the higher value-added market
segments, Prysmian Tianjin designs,
develops, manufactures, supplies and
installs a wide range of cables and systems
for industrial applications. The equipments
available in plant allow manufacturing a
wide range of high quality MV power cables
suitable for both domestic and export
markets.
Prysmian Tianjin manufactures XLPE
insulation power cables up to 110kV,
Special cables and Rubber cables up to 35
kV, using equipments and test instruments
which are imported from Europe and
the USA. Cables are manufactured with
sophisticated and advanced technology

stranding machine, triple head, dry-cure
CCV line, and 3 rubber extrusion lines and

Partial discharge equipment for final test
and silicon oil-bath test, also assures the

Instruments for a range of testing on
incoming raw materials are also available.
In 2008, Prysmian Tianjin built a new
work shop in Xiqing Plant, which occupies
2,753m2. The main function of the work
shop is for manufacturing PVC, LSOH and
rubber material for cables.

products which applying in Wind Farm,
Rolling Stock, Metro, Mining, Oil & Gas,
OEM, Marine and off-shore,PV-Solar, and

Prysmian Angel Tianjin Cable Company
Limited established in 1992 as formerly
Tianjin Angel Co., Ltd. In 2006, Prysmian
purchased assets of Angel Group, and
established Prysmian Angel Tianjin Cable
Co., Ltd. Prysmian Angel located in the
Tianjin New Industrial Park, which is
recognized throughout Northern China
as advanced technology areas. Prysmian
Angel occupies a total area of 36,630sqm,
incorporating 7,000sqm and 2,300sqm
of covered workshops and offices
respectively.
The cable are manufactured and tested
using Prysmian Angel’s advanced
production and testing equipments,
which are mainly imported from Europe,
including 4 extrusion lines with skin-foam-
skin technology; laying-up, armouring and
braiding machines; 4 sheathing lines; 1
compounding facilities (SAMP) line, etc.
Prysmian Angel product portfolio is mainly
concentrated in special precision cables
such as instrumentation, control, analog
& digital signaling cables, thermocouples
extensions and computer cables.

Prysmian Wuxi Company Limited is one of
the largest telecommunications cables
producer in China. The factory focuses on
the production of Optical Fiber Cables that
are installed by tier 1 telecom operators
and FTTX network infrastructures. The

of Optical Cables, from small cables
for premises applications to the 432
fiber Ribbon cable deployed as the main
