    Dear Dir. Iglesia:

    In line with the resolution issued by the IATF on the prohibition of mass
    gatherings for the prevention and/or reduction of COVID-19
    transmission, the Office of Project Development Services (OPDS),
    through the Water Supply and Sanitation Program Management Office
    (WSSPMO), is now adopting the strategy of virtual training in the
    conduct of Capacity Development Activities.

    As such, the OPDS-WSSPMO is planning to conduct Orientation on


    Sector Assessment to the target beneficiaries of Regions VI, VIII, XII,
    and XIII on October 12-14, 2020, as part of the continuous commitment
    of the Department capacitating the local government units.

    The specific purpose of the activity is to assist the LGUs in assessing the
    existing condition/situation of their Water Supply, Sanitation, and
    Hygiene (WaSH) that will be used in the formulation of their integrated
    WaSH Medium-Term Investment Plan and Long-Term Development
    Plan.

    In this regard, may we invite Mr. Marlon Ladia, LGOO II as one of the
    resource speakers/facilitator on the above-mentioned activity to discuss
    IWASH Governance and Framework (Roles and Responsibilities of
    LGU).
    Attached is the Program of Activities for your ready reference. Our staff
    from WSSPMO, Mr. Rowel Arcega will coordinate with your Office
    regarding this matter. A-Zoom invitation link will be sent to your email a
    day before the meeting.
