Dear Sanat Ji,

Thanks for approving the QAP for Doosan Obra Project.

Please find below our remarks:

1. As per SQP clause 3.0, Quantum of sampling for tkII inspection will be – 100 % i.e. One sample per Roll/ per type per rating – Noted. For
Rolls having same construction which are manufactured in a single run and wound in a single roll before cutting into desired order lengths,
a single sample would be taken for testing.
2. Belt Modulus as per ISO 9856 - 2003 / Approved Data Sheet- One sample per type / per rating –The testing would be as per ISO9856 and
acceptance parameter would be as per IS: 11592 (for polyamide, range of multiplying factor is 5-7).
3. Ozone Test ISO – 1431-1 or as per Specifications / Approved Data Sheet - One sample per 5 no Rolls/ per type per rating – Noted.
4. Test after Vulcanisation (Warp & Weft)) as per IS 1891 / Approved Data Sheet i.e. a) Adhesion Test, b) Tensile Test. – One sample per
Rating – Cannot be done, as no such excess length considered.

Please find attached herewith NTPC (CAT-I) approved MQP of Textile belt of Doosan Obra project received. This is for your further reference.

Also in line with pre order discussion, please ensure & fulfil the following additional inspection & testing requirements for tkII inspection &
witnessing.
