Calculus Choice Board!

Directions: For this assignment you will choose any of the following in order to get
credit. Please make sure to follow the guidelines for every section that is available. There is
no specific “box” you need to choose, it’s your choice, do what you want to do! The rubrics
for them will be below. Also I will consider extra credit if you decide doing 2 of these.

Since we have encountered a number
of theorems in this class, choose any
3 theorems from past chapters and
prove those theorems.

contributed to what is Calculus
today, write a research paper on one
of these Mathematicians that are
mentioned in the book or through
your own research.
(Mathematicians not mentioned in
the book had to incorporate
something to Calculus and they also
have to be approved by the teacher!)
Writing is not for everyone, so if
you would still like to talk about a
famous Mathematician, please
create a presentation (either
through Google Slides, Prezi, or
another online tool) about the
Mathematician.

You must optimize a 3-dimensional
container. Your container may be in
the shape of a cylinder (a can), a
rectangular prism (a box), or
something different such as a cone or
sphere. Your container should only
have two measurements, such as a
