Body or Spirit? or Body in a Spirit?

What are we?

Are we nothing but flesh

Like other living things

Only that we can think

Are we nothing but cosmic dust?

Indifferent from the moon and the stars

Only that we feel lust

Or emotions that may be bizarre

No

An embodied spirit is what we are

A soul, oh

A trinity of rational, spiritual and appetitive you are

A soul trapped or perhaps

Stuck in a body that'll someday collapse

An embodied spirit indeed

And to transcend is to proceed
