Last September 22, 2018, 1st Quarter Awarding of Achievers and Release of Report
Cards was conducted at Our Lady of La Porteria Academy. This was the second meeting which
was held with the parents. The program starts at 9:00 in the morning at the assembly area of the
campus. The opening prayer was led by Sir Erwin Cedan and afterwards the Pambansang Awit
led by Sir Vincent Baylon. Everyone was welcomed by Teacher Karen Compañero, the SHS
Coordinator by her welcome message. The awarding of certificates for the 1 st Quarter achievers
was immediately followed. Mrs. Sharmaine Fernandez gave a short updates with regards to ECC
concerns and followed by a message from Teacher Malou. Afterwards, parents proceed to the
respective classrooms.

In Grade 11-STEM, 20 parents were present. The meeting started by congratulating the
academic awardees of the class. The adviser tackled the agenda given by the coordinators. It was
discussed in a detailed manner. The adviser present the total collection of the HPTA Project. Mr.
Desengaño questioned about the project (referring to the television), if it will only be in during
Grade 11? The adviser stressed that the Grade 11-STEM was given the privilege by the principal
that they can bring their HPTA Project (television) since it will become another burden for them
in the next school year to have another television. Since the amount needed for the project is
more than 10,000.00 the class needs to provide additional fund since the budget provided for
each class is only 5,000.00. The adviser asked the parents if the project will be pushed or not.
Everyone agreed to pursue the project. But since the class need an additional fund, students will
need to pay 70.00. Additional 1,000.00 was donated by the adviser in order to purchase the
television.

Afterwards, the release of report cards was immediately followed.

The meeting ended at 11:15 am.

Last November 17, 2018, 2nd Quarter Awarding of Achievers and Release of Report
Cards was conducted at Our Lady of La Porteria Academy. This was the third meeting which
was held with the parents. The program starts at 9:00 in the morning at the assembly area of the
campus. The opening prayer was led by Ms. Maria Kristine Virtus-Daria and afterwards the
Pambansang Awit led by Sir Vincent Baylon. Everyone was welcomed by Teacher Ryan A.
Ong, the Elementary Department Head by his welcome message. The awarding of certificates for
the 2nd Quarter achievers was immediately followed. Mrs. Sharmaine Fernandez gave a short
updates with regards to ECC concerns and followed by a message from Teacher Malou.
Afterwards, parents proceed to the respective classrooms.

In Grade 11-STEM, 22 parents were present. The meeting started by congratulating the
academic awardees of the class. The adviser tackled the agenda given by the coordinator. It was
discussed in a detailed manner. The adviser presents the total collection of the HPTA Project.
Some rules and regulations of the school were also discussed. Moreover, the adviser discussed
the activities that was conducted and participated by the students in different fields. Likewise, it
was also announced the upcoming activities especially the High School Days Celebration.
Parents were encouraged to support their children if they will join events in the High School
Days celebration. Mrs. Borja pointed-out that there should be a trainer for each student who will
compete in the High School Days.

Afterwards, the release of report cards was immediately followed.

by Sir Vincent Baylon. Everyone was welcomed by Teacher Karen B. Compañero, the
Elementary Department Head by his welcome message. The awarding of certificates for the 3rd
Quarter achievers was immediately followed. Mrs. Sharmaine Fernandez gave a short update
with regards to ECC concerns and followed by a message from Teacher Ryan. Afterwards,
parents proceed to the respective classrooms.

In Grade 11-STEM, 16 parents were present. The meeting started by congratulating the
academic awardees of the class. The adviser tackled the agenda given by the coordinator. It was
discussed in a detailed manner. The adviser presents the total collection of the HPTA Project.
Some rules and regulations of the school were also discussed. Moreover, the adviser discussed
the activities that was conducted and participated by the students in different fields. Likewise, it
was also announced the upcoming activities especially the Family Day. Parents were encouraged
to support and participate in the said event. The ECC Chairman of the class discussed the
activities to be conducted during Family Day including the foods to be prepared and the games to
be sponsored. Everyone agreed to have a contribution of Php 150.00 per student to be used for
the foods and games.
