Minutes of the Meeting


High School Department Meeting
July 26, 2019 – 4:00 PM

Last July 26, 2019, high school teachers together with the principal had a meeting at the SRA.
Before teacher Rose gave the agenda for the meeting, sir Elmar shared the minutes from the previous
meeting. Teacher Rose reminded the teachers, particularly the advisers about their homeroom project
which was already submitted to the office. She announced the change of person-in-charge in the
computer laboratory, sir Reymart as well as sir Jayron for the science laboratory with the science
teachers wherein they are conducting their expriments.

The first agenda was about giving feedback for the past examination conducted last July 18-20,
2019 – test preparations, special examinations. Teacher Rose pointed that student who were absent
during the examination with valid excuse letter shall be turned over to the principal’s office for the
following reason – no permit and sick, official business and religion concerns. She also stressed the
teachers assigned during assemblies to monitor the late comers with the prefect of discipline.

Afterwards, teacher Rose conversed about the observation of classes. She pointed out that there
should be no reporting during observation and teacher should present their ULP with the curriculum
map of subject being taught. She also announced that there will be a demo-teaching of the following
teachers:
Math Teacher Joan
AP Sir Joey
English Teacher Karen
Advance English Teacher Rose
Filipino Sir Edwin

The submission of curriculum map, unit learning plan (ULP), design protocol is August 1 and 2,
2019.

The principal pointed out about the performance task that is being given by the teachers to the
students. Students should secure a slip from the Student Affair’s Office signed by the coordinator and
the teacher concerned if they are going to have their practice for the performing task during Saturdays.

For the month of July, there will be a Zumba to be sponsored by the TLE Department - Tuesday,
Grade 7 and 8; Wednesday, Grade 9 and 10. The month of August will be a busy month for all. Things
like Buwan ng Wika, DLC and Majorettes practices and Periodical Test will be done. August 12, 12,
21 and 26 are holiday. The Grade 7 students will be having their recollection.
For the month of September, awarding of honor and release of report cards for the 1st quarter
will be on the 31st. Traslacion procession will be o he 13th of the month, on 5th day will be the
Exhibition, on the 6th will be the Military Parade, and on the 7th will be the Civic parade.

On July 27, 2019, teachers will be attending seminar sponsored by ABIVA. Final design of t-
shirts due on July 31st.

Teacher Rose reminded the teachers about the classroom structuring most particularly the
bulletin boards. She also reminded the teachers about the grading system, dress code for the female
teachers as well as some teachers don’t use please and thank you when buying chits from Sir Rodney.

Everyone was given a copy of the working committees that was announced by teacher Rose.

The meeting ended at 5:37 in the afternoon.
