SCHOOL PORTFOLIO DAY ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

Parents and Stakeholders.

ACTIVITY
Licuma ES conducted the Early Registration Activity and the Portfolio Day for the
3rd quarter last Jan. 26, 2019. It started with a short Opening Program attended by
the parents, teachers and the Kagawad In-charge of Education who gave his short
message to the parents in relation to their responsibility towards the school and
Description children. The school head was the one who gave the welcome address. Right
after the program was the registration proper from incoming Kindergarten up to
Grade 7. This was attended by the Teachers assisted by the SPG Officers and
parents who came over for the registration and portfolio day. Honor’s assembly
followed and was conducted by the teachers and the school head. Consultation of
parents with regard to the academic performance of the pupils were made by
class. Signing and distribution of cards was done by the class advisers. Questions
and clarifications of the parents were entertained and presented.’ The said
activities ended at about 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon.

 Establish and sustain intercommunication among teachers, school head,
parents and other stakeholders.
As per Regional memo no. 37 s. 2019 and Regional memo no. 66 s. 2017, three
Preliminaries weeks before the Portfolio Day and Early Registration, the School Head
conducted a meeting with the teachers. She informed the faculty regarding with
the agreement and updates for the Portfolio Day and Early Registration during
their District Meeting.
Design and Methodology of Committees were formed for the Program, Invitation, Decoration, Logistics and
the Event Sound System. Invitations were sent to parents and stakeholders.
 Ormoc City Division Office had assigned Division personnel to monitor the activity.

RESULTS
Group outputs in Arts like silkscreen printed t-shirts, calendar with print design
using thin rubber, pillows made from recyclable materials, written output and
Outputs exams in all subjects, science projects, charts and other materials used by the
learners in making a group report.

1. The PTA officers serve a delicious banana and sweet potato snacks to some
Innovations/Initiatives parents and students who help in the preparation and in the conduct of the
activity.
2. Some SPG officers are selected to assist the parents in Early Registration.
The parents and stakeholders were happy seeing the performance and output of
Participants’ Feedback their child. They also appreciate the initiative of the Department, and some says
that the activity will encourage the students to learn and perform more in the class.
The parents of pupils who had more absences and trouble makers were not able
Issues and Challenges to attend the activity.
As advised by the school head, the teacher should try to reach the parents of the
pupils who have a poor performance. The teacher also are advised to conduct a
Interventions Implemented home visit to have a dialogue with the parents, and determine the intervention
needed.
New Planned Strategies for Teachers were encourage to enhance the activity by making it more attractive to
Next Conduct the parents and learners. Communication to all parents and stakeholders should
be delivered early. The activity are planned to be done after the graduation day.
