MINUTES OF THE MEETING | NARRATIVE REPORT

1ST HOMEROOM PTA MEEETING
8 – BONIFACIO | SCHOOL YEAR 2023-2024
DATE: SEPTEMBER 12, 2023

Through the presence of the classroom adviser, Sir Alexander G. Julio together with the
parents or guardians of the Grade 8 – Bonifacio. The First Day Homeroom PTA Meeting
happened during School Year 2023-2024 dated September 12, 2024, Tuesday, from 8:00 a.m. –
09:30 a.m. at Room 18.

The following agenda, that were completely discussed and agreed by the adviser and
parents, are as follows:
1. Meet and Greet;
2. Curriculum Overview;
3. Grading System;
4. Presentation of the School Head and Subject Teachers;
5. Classroom Rules and Regulations for Students and Parents;
6. Election of Homeroom PTA Officers;
7. Classroom Project; and
8. Other matters.
The meeting started with a short prayer led by Sir Alexander Julio, class adviser. He
then greeted the parents a warmth morning. All of them introduced themselves since it was their
first meeting of HPTA for School Year 2023-2024. The meeting proper was started through the
objectives set by the adviser in conducting the said meeting. The first topic was all about
curriculum overview in which they talked about the academic excellence awards and the general
averages. After that, the class adviser discussed the grading system of the eight subjects which
consist of written performance task, performance task, and quarterly assessment. Then, the school
head and subject teachers were presented by knowing their names, nicknames, positions, subjects
handled, and contact number.
Moreover, the class adviser also read the rules and regulations for students and parents
for them to be aware especially inside the classroom and school premises. Sir Alex also presided
the election for Homeroom PTA Officers for School Year 2023-2024. It was good because they
were willing to be appointed as officers for the development of the learners and their learning
environment. The class adviser also suggested and proposed a cabinet which served as the
classroom project of the Batch 2024. The meeting was ended up with photo opportunity with the
parents and class adviser then the newly elected President, Eva C. Basaen proceeded to the
covered hall to attend the election for School PTA Officers.
