Greetings of Love and Peace!

The undersigned would like to request a change of class schedule of Grades 1, 2, 3, 4,

5, 6 pupils from whole day session to morning session only of which covering the following
number of teaching loads.

Grade I - 270 minutes to 245 minutes

Grade 2 – 270 minutes to 245 minutes
Grade 3-6 – 360 minutes to 280 minutes

This is due to the rising heat index in Pangasinan, the aforementioned pupils and
teacher-advisers are affected the most, especially when they hold their classes in the afternoon
session. Most learners are absent in their classes in the afternoon session because of the
aforementioned cause.

It is for the reason that straight teaching in these classes are hereby proposed and
extended teaching in the morning session will be hold starting from 7:00 AM to 12 noon except
Grade 1 which starts at 7:00 AM and ends at 11:30 AM during the Fourth Quarter for this
School Year 2022-2023.

As the School Head of Sabangan Elementary School, this issue is my paramount

concern, as the pupils and teachers experience health problems like cough, colds, nausea, and
asthma.

Attached is a proposed class program of Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, PTA minutes of the

meeting attendance and documentation.

We hope that this will be addressed at the earliest convenience, as we await your

MINUTES OF THE MEETING

May 4, 2023

The Sabangan Elementary School, headed by Mdm. Emma C. Cerezo, held an

urgent meeting last May 4, 2023, at Sabangan Elementary School Gym.

The meeting started at 11:30 AM with Grades 1,2,3,4,5,6 Teachers, PTA Officers
and the School head.

1. Call to Order

School head Mdm. Emma C. Cerezo called the meeting to order at 11:30 AM

2. Roll Call

3. Agenda

Change of Class Schedule of Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 classes from whole day

session to morning session only: 7:00 AM – 12:00 noon except Grade 1 which
starts at 7:00 AM and ends at 11:30 AM for the Fourth Quarter, this School Year
2022-2023.
4. Approval of Agenda

The School Head, Mdm. Emma C. Cerezo presented the Agenda to PTA Officers
which is the Change of Schedule of Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 Classes from whole
day session to morning session only starting at 7:00 AM – 12 noon except Grade
1 which starts at 7:00 AM and ends at 11:30 AM. This was raised by the Grades
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 Teachers who are suffering from health problems such as cough,
colds, nausea and asthma due to the high temperature especially in the
afternoon. The pupils and the teachers as well are so much affected on the
rising heat index in Pangasinan. Moreover, the academic performance of the
pupils is affected as a result of absenteeism.

5. Approval of Minutes

The School Head, Mdm. Emma C. Cerezo displayed the minutes on May 4,
2023. It was moved, seconded and carried that the minutes of the meeting be
approved.

6. Report of Principal

The meeting was held at Sabangan Elementary School on May 4, 2023 at 11:30
AM with the Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 Teachers, PTA Officers and the School Head,
Mdm. Emma C. Cerezo.

Christopher Donato, the PTA President with his co-officers suggested that the
issue will be referred to Mdm. Arlyn V. Garcia, PSDS of Binmaley I District and
Mdm. Fatima R. Boado, Schools Division Superintendent, Division Office I
Pangasinan for immediate response and action on this matter.

Everyone is hoping and praying that the request be granted the soonest possible
time.

7. Adjournment

The meeting was adjourned at 12:00 noon.
