in this department. We are fifth year students, taking up Bachelor of Science in Civil
Engineering at the University of Southern Mindanao, Kabacan, North Cotabato.

Our course curriculum requires us to have 112-hours civil works training that aims to
complement the concept and theories we have learned, to the development of our full potential,
through exposure to the actual field work. In exchange, we offer our service and determination to

Dear Sir:
The Department of Civil Engineering are requiring our students to undertake
apprenticeship to earn an experience of a real‐world job as part of the curriculum of the
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
In this regard, I would like to request your office to allow our senior students to undergo
apprenticeship for a period 112 hours (October 12 to November 12, 2020). The following
