IRRIGATION ENGINEERING OPEN ENDED LAB

At the downstream of Taunsa Barrage, muddy water is emerging from soil surface due to
displacement of fine particles. there may be chances of barrage topple. XEN Irrigation, Taunsa
Barrage has requested University of Sargodha to figure out some suitable solution to mitigate this
problem. Instructions:

1. Explain the complete problem phenomenon and all possible solutions to this , supported
with literature background.
2. Device some suitable solution complementing the Taunsa Barrage demographics with
numerical calculations, if necessary.
