Video Tutorials- the EdPuzzlevideos and Brian McLogan Youtube tutorials are lectures

that students can watch on any Algebra 2 topic. They are valuable because sometimes
students need to hear a topic explained in a different way to truly grasp it. It is also
helpful for students with processing issues because they are able to pause and rewind the
lecture as needed. Students will use these videos as reinforcement after I initially
introduce them to a new topic. They can watch them at their own pace. This will help
students develop a foundational level of understanding of the topic.

Interactive Reinforcement Practice & Tools- Khan Academy practice and the
interactive Desmos activities will help students to solidify their understanding of a topic.
After they have been introduced to a new topic and have reinforced the content by
watching the tutorials above, they are now ready to do some practice at their own pace.
This is valuable because students need to be able to practice on their own in order to
truly master new material. I will use the results of this practice as part of their classwork
grade. These activities will support students who need extra practice as well as students
who require more of a challenge. These activities can be tailored to each student’s level.

Digital Games- Once students have reinforced the material with video tutorials and
practiced the concepts on their own, they are now ready to have some fun with the
material and play a game of their choice. This is valuable because the students are still
practicing what they have learned but also having fun and interacting with their peers
too. Again, these games can be tailored towards the level of each students (either as
more reinforcement practice or challenge problems).
