RATIONALE:

Quail ready to lay production in a backyard area is very common in

our municipality. It can generate other source of income to a marginalize

farmer for a short period of time. Quail eggs are commonly used at homes,

eateries, hotels and other food establishments. Quail manure can be

utilized as organic fertilizer and can be converted also to a bio-gas for

household consumption. Management is not a problem in engaging this

venture where in a little time is devoted to this project.

OBJECTIVE:

Generally the project aims to generate other source of income to

uplift the long condition of qualified marginalized farmer in our barangay.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND COMPONENT:

The proposed project will be the production of Quail Eggs amounting

to ₱729,600.00. The delivery of 9,000 Quail (RTL) will be done first week
3,000; second week 3,000 and third week another 3,000. The project will
be placed outside populated areas for not to harm the community and the
environment. The office of the Municipal of Agriculture will monitor the
project including health management.

SOCIO ECONOMIC ASPECTS
The proposed project will compliments the financial upliftment of the
qualified farmer in the barangay. The quail manure can be used as
fertilizer for vegetables and other crops. It can be used as bio-gas for
electrical power. Proper hygiene and sanitation will be observed
regularly in order not to harm the environment.
