    Lesson Assessment 7: (Deadline of submission on October 23 before midnight)


    Answer orderly and neatly.

    1. A cylindrical tank, 3 m long and 2 m in diameter is used for oil storage. How many days
    can the tank supply the engine having 27°API with fuel consumption of 60 kg/hr if the
    average tank temperature is 24°C? (20 pts.)
    2. You bought diesel fuel on a cold rainy dawn to be sold for retail. During that time the
    temperature of the fuel is 15.56°C, and you bought 1000 liters at 32 pesos/liter. If the fuel
    is at 36°API and you sold it at 37 pesos per liter during the day at an average temperature
    of 25°C, calculate how much could be your profit. (20 pts.)
