CTPt: A plateless printing process in which a
computer sends a digital file to a digital printer
and the image is printed directly on the
paper/substrate (electronic printing). For e.g.
electrophotography, ink jet and thermal printing.

converts it to a visual image.
CTP: Imaging a plate directly from

digital files to the image carrier on a direct imaging press without
the use of removable plates. It saves the film and chemical costs,
low maintenance cost, versatility, and improve printing process
accuracy
