Response to other learner’s posting Grading Rubric
For student postings:
* Completion of all Discussion Forum topics
* Substantial original contributions for each Discussion Forum topic that
further the work of the class.
* Original, thoughtful analysis of lesson materials.
* Connects unit material to life experiences, past assignments, and elaborates.
* Clear and fluent writing.
* Postings made in a timely manner, meaning discussion contribution
A beginning within four days of the week’s start and continuing over the week for
90-100%each Discussion Forum topic.

For responses to other postings:


* Respond to two or more postings in the weekly Discussion Forum topic in
addition to original response.
* Responses are thoughtful and advance the discussion supported with citations
in proper APA format with reference listing at end.
* Frequent interaction with students within sessions (e.g., at least two posting
per Discussion Forum topic over the week).
For student postings:
* Completion of all Discussion Forum assignments.
* Fairly substantial postings that significantly contribute to the class.
* Responses given are relevant and indicate understanding of course readings.
* Some analysis of materials.
* Clear writing.
* Postings only on the last two or three days of the week.

* Responses to 1 or 2 postings in each discussion in addition to original
response.
* Mainly thoughtful responses without cited support in APA format.
* Periodic interaction with classmates (l posting days per Discussion Forum
