Tech Acc : 813.100 TA Description : PUMPS AND TANKS FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM

1- Coordinate with STSL to complete together with 3M helideck foam routine (816.C080).
2- Flow test each fire pump through helideck monitors as follows:
- Use CCR control station for this test.
- Switch jockey pumps to manual.
- Switch redundant fire pumps to manual.
- Close foam valve.
- Open helideck monitors, the fire pump should start when the pressure drops at 6-7 bar.
- Check for leakages, excessive bearing temperature, noise and vibration.
- Record suction/discharge pressures and motor current in the attached log sheet.
- Continue test with other pumps.
- Upon completion ensure jockey pumps and all fire pumps are set to auto mode.
Remark: As per IMO Reg MSC.1/Circ/ 1432 para 7.1.2 "Flow test all fire pumps for proper pressure and
capacity."

3M Routine Fire Pumps
Done in conjuction with Weekly Test of Fire pumps.
PS Fire pump:
· Suction: 0.6 Bar
· Discharge: 14.5 Bar
· Electric Motor current.: 19.6 Amps
Visual inspections - no leaks found, no vibrations, no noises.
Fire hydrants were opened on several points around the deck for testing purpose.
Jockey pumps were kept in Auto all the time until Main pumps kicked in.
No leaks observed on the Fire Main after test run.
System is fully operation.
