INTRODUCTION
This chapter should contain a complete introduction on your proposed research title,
which must include:

1.1 Problem Statement

Covid-19 is a global outbreak that occur right now. The virus can spread easily
through contact and others possibilities. The necessary precaution had been laid out
by WHO. The precautions are very important to minimize the spreading of the virus.

One of the precaution is measuring body temperature to detect fever which is one of
the symptom. Nowadays

1.2 Research Objective

1. Shows you all kind of information that usually had to look at a different place and
can group them all in one place for better functionality.

2. Data is projected so that they won't distract the pilot's attention.

3. Eyes refocus much faster when the pilot switch from the sky view to the projected
display.

1.3 Research Goals

Ease the distraction the pilot needs when switching the view from the sky and
instrument by having the instrument in front of the pilot. This can be accomplished
by having a projection display in the pilot views as this can also give the pilot the
views of the sky as it sees through. Not only that, but it will also simplify the

complicated instrument system that will incredibly help the pilot not to get confused
as this have been shown by many incidents.

LITERATURE REVIEW
Modern aircraft cockpit instrumentation includes many complex electronic systems,
including avionics, navigation systems, communications, engine and system gauges,
etc. They are visual instrument systems that the aircraft crew use in operating the
aircraft. Therefore, the proper operation of all cockpit instruments is of the greatest
importance. Besides, the cockpit instrumentation must be highly reliable to provide
safe, reliable, and economical air travel. Instrument displays for the primary aircraft
avionic instruments are commonly located on an instrument panel located in front of
the pilot and co-pilot seats and below the windshield. Secondary instrument displays
and annunciators are sometimes located in an overhead panel above the windshield.

HUD systems are now widely used in both military and commercial aircraft to
provide pilots with essential information superimposed onto their forward field of
view through the aircraft windshield. The information displayed is typically data
and/or symbolic images indicative of flight conditions, such as aircraft altitude or
airspeed, navigation information, or guidance information. The trend nowadays is to
use head-up displays (HUDs) to aid piloting: these displays make it possible to
exhibit visual indications for the benefit of the pilot, these being superimposed on the
actual landscape and facilitating the assessment by the pilot of the state of the aircraft
at a given moment. Prior art aircraft cockpit instrumentation has used projection
displays. A projection display includes an optical image engine that creates and
projects an electronically created image onto a screen. The resultant image can be
viewed by one or more of the crew. The projection display may include one or more
mirrors to reflect the image onto a screen at the desired position. The projection
display can create any manner of visual display, including instrument representations,
navigation displays, aircraft attitude displays, etc. Also, the projection display may be
switched between a plurality of display types.

METHODOLOGY
The methodology is as follow;

Start

Research

Develop Prototype

Testing Adjustment

No
Successful?

Yes

End
Research

The research will be obtained to improve the existing that has been made
by including the latest technology. All material will be gathered to build
depending on the research.

Develop Prototype

The prototype will be developed using the required material such as Self-
Adhesive Holographic Rear Projection Screen Material or Transparent
Holographic Rear Projection, Perspex, or Plexiglass to simulate the aircraft
windshield and Projector.

Testing

By having a car to simulate as an aircraft, testing and the data will be

collected to see if the prototype is working or not.

Adjustment

If the testing failed, the fine adjustment will be made to improve the
prototype. Then the testing will be done again, and adjustment will be
made again too.
