It is a great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Kaitlyn C. Beaver. She is one of
the most exceptional youth I have encountered in my over 20 years of experience working with
children and adolescents. I am not surprised to find out she is ranked at the top of an
extraordinarily capable class of seniors. She has a keen interest in and talent for academics, but
she is also a caring leader and mentor to her peers and other youth.

Kaitlyn is a perceptive, sharp, and quick individual with a high aptitude for all academic classes
she is involved in. Her personal strengths are as impressive as her intellectual accomplishments.
She has an active, outgoing presence in all areas of her life and has a great sense of humor and
always helpful demeanor. Kaitlyn is the perfect person to get a group project rolling, but she also
knows how to be a good leader in leading by example. Her cheerful nature and openness to
feedback means she is always learning and growing. This is an impressive strength that will
continue to serve her well in high school, college, and beyond. Kaitlyn is just the kind of driven,
engaging, and curious person that helps make others feel a part of an engaging environment and
safe place to take their own risks.

Kaitlyn has my highest recommendation for any applicable area in which she needs it. She has
demonstrated excellence in all that she puts her mind to, whether it is her academics, volunteer
work, mentoring, collaborating with others, or teaching herself to reach past her own barriers for
success. Kaitlyn’s inquisitive nature, combined with her willingness to take risks, leads me to
believe there will be no limit to her growth and achievements in college and beyond.
