It is without reservation that I recommend Kate Gaines for the position with your school district.

Kate and I have been colleagues at Los Banos Unified School District since 2015 until the
present. In that time, I have observed many wonderful qualities that she consistently
demonstrates.

Kate demonstrates tremendous work ethic, communication, honesty, integrity, and effort to do
whatever necessary to ensure student success. A lot has been required of Kate in her current
position but she executes her tasks efficiently with a positive attitude and professionalism. Kate
has a very calming presence and a great sense of humor; making her a delight to work with.

She tirelessly implements the most positive and impactful educational and behavioral
interventions for the students she works with. Kate does a great job fostering positive
relationships in order to seamlessly impart her knowledge of educational and behavioral
supports to staff members and students in the classroom. Her ability to work with classroom
and other school personnel so effectively ultimately results in the best outcomes for the
students she supports.

Kate has the ability to model positive behavior interventions while she is working with students.
She takes an individualized approach to each student she works with based on their needs. Kate
has demonstrated extensive knowledge and skill in preparing and implementing Positive
Behavior Supports. It is very common for school personnel to report to me how much they
value Kate’s support to their school site, classroom, and student.

All of the aforementioned is just a small sample of the qualities that Kate possesses that makes
her an irreplaceable asset to any school site she is a part of. I have no doubt she would be the
same for this position.
