Violet's Garden is a floral shop that has a heart to love their
customers well and treat their staff like family. Our goal is to
offer resources to help our staff be more organized and better
communication between departments.

Introduction

Violet's Garden is is a floral shop located in Carrollton, Illinois.

We are a company that is committed to providing an
experience rather than a transaction. We pride ourselves in
offering the highest quality and broadest range fresh flowers
and floral arrangements. Selling a product is only the first
step in building an ongoing relationship, which is why we
strive to provide the highest level of service, knowledgeable
advice, and relevant information in a positive and open way.

Our mission is to provide our customers with

quality flowers and floral arrangements at a fair price. We will
strive to match and surpass the expectations that our
customers expect from us and our products. We will not
compromise on quality and will never use inferior product for
the sake of price.

Problem Statement
Violet's Garden has been a blooming company since their
opening in 2016. The companies incredible staff are the
backbone of the company and the continued success they
have in creating beautiful vase arrangements. Due to the
large volume of staff, scheduling and accessibility to
information regarding changes within the company has
caused some challenges. Due to this conflict, we as a
Company are working hard to instill a more accessible
approach to distribute and carry out scheduling information.

Strategic Approach
Violet's Garden's will survey their employees to find what is
most important to their employees when discussing
scheduling. After the survey, the management staff will have
a meeting to discuss options to best address the situation.
Once a decision is made, the company will have a training for
their employees to update changes as well as train them in
the new protocols of time off request, sick days, hours, pay,
etc. By having a training, we are offering our employees the
best resources in the new protocalls of Violet;s Garden.

Communication Objectives
Objective 1: Our goal is to incorporate an app that allows easy
access as well as instant access to schedules. This will help
keep a more organized system between employees and the
business.

Objective 2: This allows our employees to submit requests

instantly as well as instant updates on changes made.

Key Messages

Violet's Garden needs to update and use a program/app

that will offer organized, instant access, scheduling within
the company. A training will be offered for employees to
understand and use the new system.

Stakeholders

Our stakeholders consist of our employees from all

departments. We value the time of our employees and
that is why we feel it is important to prioritize this issue.
Having an accessible resource is a must for out staff and
fine that it can grow our relationships with them that will
then extend better relationships with our customers.

Channels

Violet's Garden main channel in this project will be an

app/program used. It will be used on computers within the
corporation as well as available for staff members phones,
tables, etc. We will also be having trainig taking place to
help equip our employees to best understand the program
and utilize its fullness.

Media Relations

This specific project will require media within the

company. These resources will include email and texts
within the Violet's Garden community. It will allow our staff
to be updates as we continue to move forward within this
project.

Resource and Budget

Violet's Garden most valued resource is the time we have

to instill the new scheduling program. We have no need to
rush in our decision making but also will work quickly to
introduce this new project.

The budget for this project is a minimum cost. We will be

budgeting for the app, Paylocity as well as the time for
training.

Sign-Off Protocals

This project will have to be approved by the CEO. It will be

reviewed by the management staff as well as HR. Once the
project is reviewed, CEO will review and sign off as the
final step. The training will be given from management
within each department and HR.

Timescale
Violet's Garden time frame of this project is under a month.
We are surveying employees over a week time frame then
will move to the instilling the app/program within the next
two weeks. The final week will be the training for the staff.

Measurement
The measurement of this project will be based on the turn
around as well as employee satisfaction. We as a company
should be able to evaluate the projects success within the
following months of the completion if the project.

Benefits
This project benefits the employees as well as their time
and resources. This will allow an easier option for the
employees which will then releave stress and better
relationships with the customers which helps the buiness

Risk and Dependencies

With any project, there are always risk that could
potentially arise. Within this project, we could provide a
program that is not a helpful as intended. The project will
go through several hands but with communication we can
establish a much needed update within scheduling.
