1.0 PURPOSE: To established a guidelines for safe operation Crusher.

2.0 SCOPE: - Lime stone Crusher.

3.0 DEFINITIONS
3.1 HOD- Head of Department
3.2 Mech -Mechanical
3.3 PPEs- Personal Protective Equipment
3.4 EOT Crane- Electrically operated travelling crane

4.0 RESPONSIBILITY: HOD Mechanical is over all responsible. Individual responsibility

is given in description

5.0 DESCRIPTION

5.1 Shut off and lock out controls before lubricating M/A
and performing any maintenance or adjustment.
5.2 While in crusher operation please ensure other M/A
drives are in sequence.
5.3 The material size to be crushed in the crusher is M/A
not allowed to exceed the specified maximum size

5.4 Observe the operation of the crusher sound and M/A

Under the circumstances to take the appropriate
measures and timely reporting to superiors.

5.5 1. Regularly check the drive belt and coupling M/A

guard is loose, and check whether loose
fastening.
2. Regularly check the temperature of the
bearing, sound ,vibration of the body and

any abnormal notify to the maintenance

3. While the Crusher operation, any broken
abnormal sound ,Immediately please shut
down and inform to concerned staff &
Managers to carry out detailed inspection.
