Rusting of Bottom Supporting frames of Glazing Balustrades at Private Balconies
The Management Company issued a notice on September 28, 2020 to ask you about the
options for the corrosion of the glass rails and bottom grooves of the private balconies. However,
no reply was received before the deadline of October 5, 2020. During the period from October
9th to October 14th, 2020, we also tried to contact you by phone, but failed to contact you.
The owner can hire a contractor to carry out the work related to the replacement of the glass
fence. If you hire a contractor to replace the glass fence, you need to borrow a scaffold and must
purchase sufficient third-party accident insurance and labor insurance. Apply to the management
office to approve the borrowing of external wall scaffolds working days before, and submit the
specified documents. Please refer to the previous notice (No.: SC/YH/007) for the borrowing of
external wall scaffolds. In order to match the integrity and aesthetic outlook of the external brick
paving project, the replacement of the private glass fence of the unit must be carried out before
the external wall paving. Therefore, the replacement of the glass fence of each unit must be
completed by November 15, 2020.
If you do not repair or replace the glass fence, you must take the risks and responsibilities that
the fence may cause. The incorporated owners and building maintenance contractor “Yuen
Hing” will not assume any post-project responsibilities.

本公司曾於 2020 年 9 月 28 日發出通告給 貴業戶詢問有關私人單位露台玻璃欄河底槽銹蝕事宜的

選項，唯於 2020 年 10 月 5 日截止日期前仍未收到回覆，其後本公司於 2020 年 10 月 9 日至 10 月
14 日期間亦嘗試透過電話聯絡的方式聯絡 貴業戶，唯未能成功聯絡 貴業戶。

業戶現可自行聘請承建商進行有關更換玻璃欄河工程，業戶如自行聘請承建商更換玻璃欄河需借
用棚架，必須要購買足夠第三者意外保險及勞工保險，於工程開展七個工作天前向管理處申請批
核借用外牆棚架，並需提交指定文件，有關借用外牆棚架事宜請參閱 早前之通告(編號：
SC/YH/007)。為配合外牆鋪磚工程的完整和美觀性，更換單位私人玻璃欄河工程必須在外牆鋪磚
工程前進行，故此，各單位更換玻璃欄河必須在 2020 年 11 月 15 日前完成更換。

貴 業戶如不對單位玻璃欄河進行維修或更換，須自行承擔欄河可能造成的風險及責任，法團及大
廈維修承建商源興不會承擔任何工程後的責任，源興將會為生銹及銹蝕部份塗上防銹油。
