1. Introductions - Sing “Let us chase the
a. Say a hello squirrel” with solfege and
b. Say what materials you will need (Instruments if you have them, two pencils) words while doing the
solfege hands. Record
2. Review the song “Make New Friends” yourself on Seesaw
a. Sing slowly together while using solfege hands
b. Then sing up to tempo
c. Then sing solfege

3. Review “This Land is Your Land”


a. Sing chorus together using motions
b. Use echoes and motions to teach verse 1. Then sing verse 1 together.
c. Sing in the form with Chorus, Verse 1, Chorus

4. Review Do, Mi, Sol, Re solfege


a. Practice with different patterns and have the students echo

5. Review Scotland’s Burning


a. Do Sol as a double high five
b. Sing the song with words and then solfege
c. Do solfege hands the entire time

6. Teach the song “Let us chase the squirrel”


a. Teach the song using echoes and motions
b. Sing the song together
c. Teach the song with solfege and sing the song with solfege.

7. Say goodbyes and introduce Dance Party


a. Remind students of assignments on SeeSaw
b. Remind students that videos will come out every Wednesday
