Research methods

1. Participants:
In order to achieve this research objective, a survey will be conducted focusing on the
investigation of the students from cohorts 19 to 22 of the High Quality Program at the Baking
Academy of Vietnam. They will be students of both genders from various provienes across
the country. Specifically, these participants will be asked about the effectiveness of the social
network use. The result of this survey will therefore have many different viewpoints.
2. Methods:
Qualitative and quantitive research methods will be used in the study. Besides, the method of
document research and the questionaire survey method will be also appiled mainly with the
main data collection method and secondary data collection in this study. Information and
information on acquiring students knowledge will be sought, gathered and selected from
popular websites and from articles of individuals and organizations related to education and
society. With the qualitative research, a questionnaire will be designed with a list of 10
multiple choice questions about the benefits of social media use for ATC students, the
difficulties which they face, and the solutions to improve. These questions will help us
exploit the information and data in the most specific and detailed manner. Qualitative
methods are mainly to observe the situation of using social media on the platforms that the
school has provided.
3. Data collection:
This research paper’s primary information resource is created by collecting questionnaire and
interview responses. To begin with, we chose 10 specific questions based on our 3 specific
research question to create the questionnaires. Next, we indiscriminately picked out 50 B.A.
Freshmen and Sophomores to fill in our survey. In the final step, we interviewed 5 of the
above 50 students to interview 7 questions with each session taking up 15 minutes.
Interviewing is a research method that can help us investigate our participants’ experience
more thoroughly compared to using surveys. We also conducted interviews with the aim of
clearing up and validating complicated details within the statistics. Therefore, we are certain
that our data’s level of relevance is reasonably high.
4. Data Analysis :
After the information is collected through paper and online survey,we will
process the raw data into usable statistics from which we will finally draw
conclusions on the manners BA students use social media and the correlating
effects, be them mostly positive, negative or neutral.
