Overall Instructions

1. Be sure to understand these instructions fully before continuing

2. On the menu, under activities, click on the Sample Files button
3. Choose which sample files you will be using (Independent Practice Sample Files/Guided
Practice Sample Files)
4. Save the files to your preferred location
5. On the menu, click on Instructions
6. Select the instructions based on the sample files chosen
7. Extract the files
8. Follow the practice instructions
9. Under the Sample Files section, use either Guided Practice(GP) Submission or
Independent Practice(IP) Submission to turn in your files
10.Make sure the files are zipped

General Practice Instructions

4. Watch the Video Tutorial
5. Download and save the Guided Practice Sample Files .zip file under the Sample Files

8. Follow the video instructions and create the web page
9. Rename the “blank.html” file to “steve_jobs.html”
10.Compare your finished work to the grading rubric
11.Zip the Guided Practice files and name it “guided_practice_submission.zip”

Independent Practice Instructions

 3. Download and save the Independent Practice Sample Files .zip file under the Sample
Files Section
4. Extract the files to your preferred location
5. Use similar steps for the guided practice to transfer text from “Ronaldinho.txt” to the
“blank.html” file
6. Create a header of your choice for both of the first two paragraphs
7. Center the headers
8. Insert a picture from the two pictures included in the folder
9. Center the picture
10.Create paragraphs on the webpage
11.Bolden a word of your choice in the first paragraph
12.Italicize a word of your choice in the same paragraph
13.Underline a word of your choice in the last paragraph
14.Rename the “blank.html” file to “ronaldinho.html”
15.Compare your finished work to the grading rubric
16.Zip the Guided Practice files and name it “independent_practice_submission.zip”
