Opener— (Before-reading) (before reading) – Ask Questions+ production

Before presenting the story a quick survey of students. I ask, has anyone visited a park before? Has anyone visited the
butterfly garden? Do they want to increase the butterfly garden? This is in order to support students and encourage
them to participate. Make them predict the events of the story through the story of what will happen this event or what
caused this event. Ask students why Nan is sad and why is she happy?

During reading – The loud reading+ share reading – introducing a book

 Support students by reading the story in two ways, the first out loud and the other by engaging students and
supporting them at the beginning of each sentence in order to learn reading skills and how mistakes can be
corrected in the event of any mistake

 While reading, ask students about the event and what will happen?
 Encouraging students to read without any support from the teacher.
 After reading, ask about the events that happened in the story.
 As for the event that they loved?
Closing— (After-Reading) open -ended questions -Ask questions)

Ask students about the most important event in the story? Why? Do they like the story? Will they read it at home or
not?
