Task: Differentiate what is phonemic awareness, phonics, and phonological awareness.

Based in the video presented, phonemic awareness is the first one skill to get it has
something to do with the sounds to understand individual sounds in words. It also said in the
video you can do phonemic awareness in the dark that means you could acquire this skill even
you’re not seeing the word, simple because the sound of letter is what matter most. Pronounce
individual sounds in words are related to phonemic awareness. Phonics has to do with spelling of
words you have to see the words and know their rules. It is important to know the relations of
letters or written language and the sound of spoken language because there are words that has the
same sound but different spelling of words and has a varied definition or the meaning of the
word. In that way, the children wouldn’t misunderstood of the word. Phonological awareness is
putting all of it together including the sound and the spelling of word and combined both
phonemic and phonics altogether to understand the word on his certain meaning.
