My name is Vacalie Ionut, I am from Romania and in recent years I have been in
UK for various reasons. I am applying for the Business Management because I want to
change my career path. My goal in life is to be useful to others, for me that is the
ultimate success. I study to become useful, to develop skills that others need. Learning
business management and administration will make me useful to many. Managing and
administration are meta-skills, and people will always need them.
My current goal is to start and develop my own business. After doing some
research, I realised that my country cannot offer me the education I need to achieve this
goal. The level of specialisation here is quite poor and teaching methods are mostly
oriented on theoretical knowledge which I believe is nearly useless when it comes to
real-life work.
I think this programme covers the business topics that interest me the most. As a
future business leader I must be an expert in these fields, capable of analysing and
solving any practical problems I may face. I am certain that the numerous traineeships
and case assignments I will take part in during this programme will help me to gain the
necessary knowledge and skills.
I consider my key strengths to be: excellent self-control in a crisis, an ability to
make analytical judgements, people management, making decisions, assessing business
situations, identifying important points and the fact that i am a good listener.
I am a conscientious, open-minded, ambitious, communicative and competitive,
keep on improving continuously.
Additionally, studying at your university will significantly improve my English
skills. As one the most important languages in the world, English will help me to form
new connections and will help me to form new connections and widen my socialising
skills to a global level.
I can contribute with leadership abilities. I tend to take charge in social and
professional situations. I consider myself a natural leader.
The Bachelor of Business Management is exactly what I have been looking for.
I strongly believe that the academic program is bound to find answers to my curiosities
in the field as well as to build up the knowledge and skills necessary to aim for a job at a
highly regarded company or even to start my own business at some point. My profound
interest in the business field and the willingness to give the best I am capable of in order
to attain my objectives, make me feel confident that I could meet the requirements of
the Bachelor of Business Management
