Understanding the Breakthrough Power of Praise part 6

Praise is the garment of the believer.

It is the lifestyle of everyone who wants to live the overcomers life.

Lifestyle of praise means a life with a style of praise. You have a life and they style of that life is
praise.

The same way every trend comes with a unique style, so also every believer must style their life
with praise. Only life whose style is praise will be joyful. A praise life is a joy full life.

The solution to every of your problems, issues of concern, challenges, worries etc resides with
God. And to bring God, you need to be praiseful. When your praise goes up, God comes down
with your solution.

For a guaranteed success, you must put on a praise lifestyle.

What is Praise?

Praise means to magnify God, to exalt God, to worship God in dance and songs, to continually
and constantly be thankful to God...

Praise is sacrifice we offer God with our lips and body and heart.

Psalms 100:1-5

[1] (A Psalm of praise.) Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

[2] Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

[3] Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are
his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

[4] Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him,
and bless his name.

[5] For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Jeremiah 17:26

[26] And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and
from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south,
bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices
of praise, unto the house of the LORD.

Jeremiah 33:11

[11] The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of
the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for
his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house
of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.

Worrying cannot solve the issues of your life, why not hand it over to the Alpha and Omega
through praise, so that He can give you rest?

Matthew 11:28

[28] Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

We hand over our issues, burdens and heavy laden through praise.

Why We Must Praise God

Praise makes us more than conquerors.

Conquerors are overcomes, they are champions and victors...

The toughest battles of life are won through praise because it takes only God to fight it for us
if we must come out victoriously and unharmed.

Acts 16:25-30
[25] And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard
them.

[26] And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were
shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

[27] And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open,
he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been
fled.

[28] But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.

[29] Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul
and Silas,

[30] And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

In Matthew 11, John the Baptist was in similar situation but rather thank to praise God, he
became depressed and offended in God that he doubted Jesus whom he baptised and witness
God confirmation as He beloved son, the messiah to come.

The praise he failed to give God was what the daughter of herodias gave hero's that the head of
John the Baptist was given.

Matthew 14:1-12; Mark 6:17-29; Luke 3:18-19

For every battle you want to command supernatural victory, then you must invite the
supernatural God through praise.

It takes the God of supernatural to experience a supernatural lifestyle. A life with a style of
praise is a life of the supernatural.

Psalms 149:1-8

[1] Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of
saints.

[2] Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

[3] Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and
harp.

[4] For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
[5] Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

[6] Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

[7] To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

[8] To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

One of the toughest battles the children of Israel faced after they left Egypt was the
confrontations with the read sea and the army of Egypt behind them. It was so tough that they
began to lament and cry unto Moses. But when the supernatural God shows up, the impossible
become.possible.

Psalms 114:1-8

[1] When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

[2] Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.

[3] The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.

[4] The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.

[5] What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?

[6] Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?

[7] Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

[8] Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

The red sea in your life can only be parted when you live a praise lifestyle.

We saw another encounter Joshua leading the children of Israel against a formidable city
Jericho. The people.out of fear has shut their city and the wall of Jericho was so big that towers
were built on it.

As tough as the wall is, it took the children of Israel only a shout of praise for the wall to fall.

Joshua 6:14-20

[14] And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did
six days.
[15] And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day,
and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed
the city seven times.

[16] And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua
said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.

[17] And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the
harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that
we sent.

[18] And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves
accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble
it.

[19] But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD:
they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.

[20] So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when
the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that
the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him,
and they took the city.

Prayer

In the battle between Judah and the 3 nations, praise was all they needed to experience victory.
High praise leads to sweatless victory. While the children of Judah was praising God to battle,
God was busy fighting for them.

They got to the battle ground and all their enemies were dead. That issue you think is too big
for you is not bigger than God. God is only praise away.

2 Chronicles 20:17-24

[17] Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation
of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out
against them: for the LORD will be with you.

[18] And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the
inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.
[19] And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood
up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high.

[20] And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as
they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of
Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so
shall ye prosper.

[21] And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that
should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the
LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.

[22] And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the
children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were
smitten.

[23] For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir,
utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir,
every one helped to destroy another.

[24] And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the
multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.

So in conclusion,

Only when praise goes up will God come down and only when God comes down will your
victory be guaranteed.

Habakkuk 3:17-19

[17] Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the
olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and
there shall be no herd in the stalls:

[18] Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

[19] The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make
me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
The turning point of that dry and ugly situation in your life, marriage, children, health is just
praises away.
