out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a

large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the
Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites. Whereupon he
promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask. Be not rash with thy mouth, and let
not thine heart be hasty to utter [any] thing before God: for God [is] in heaven, and thou upon
earth: therefore let thy words be few. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion,
that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but
had pleasure in unrighteousness. And the children of Benjamin came forth out of Gibeah, and
destroyed down to the ground of the Israelites that day twenty and two thousand men. Only he
shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he
profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them. And when all the congregation saw
that Aaron was dead, they mourned for Aaron thirty days, [even] all the house of Israel. Why do
the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? So they girded sackcloth on their loins,
and [put] ropes on their heads, and came to the king of Israel, and said, Thy servant Benhadad
saith, I pray thee, let me live. Michtam of David. Therefore said he, Take [it] up to thee. And
the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. Let him not become uncircumcised. The king by
judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it. So the people sent
to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts, which
dwelleth [between] the cherubims: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, [were] there
with the ark of the covenant of God. For therefore he sent unto us [in] Babylon, saying, This
[captivity is] long: build ye houses, and dwell [in them]; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit
of them. And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them
that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats
of them that sold doves; And would not suffer that any man should carry [any] vessel through the
temple. I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and
thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great
congregation. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. Behold, I will raise them out of the
place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head: And I will
sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell
them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken [it]. For we are not as many,
which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we
in Christ. Not for your sakes do I [this], saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed
and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel. And it came to pass in those days, that she
was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid [her] in an upper chamber. Therefore
hear ye the word of the LORD, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by
my great name, saith the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of
Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD liveth. Then say thou, Thy servant Uriah
the Hittite is dead also. And when he had called unto [him] his twelve disciples, he gave them
power [against] unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all
manner of disease. The LORD will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the
border of the widow. And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, [which] thy sons and
thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy
vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy fenced cities, wherein thou trustedst, with
the sword. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead. Then
after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. And I
gave unto Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave unto Esau mount Seir, to possess it; but Jacob and
his children went down into Egypt. Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Carry thither one
of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there, and let him teach
them the manner of the God of the land. Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the
wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel [was] over them above. And whosoever
will, let him take the water of life freely. All the hangings of the court round about [were] of
fine twined linen. He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath
given will he pay him again. Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise [man] glory in his wisdom,
neither let the mighty [man] glory in his might, let not the rich [man] glory in his riches: But
let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I [am] the LORD
which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these [things]
I delight, saith the LORD. When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the
wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. O my people, what have I done unto thee? But the wicked
[are] like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. Will he
speak soft [words] unto thee? Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying
divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith [it]; albeit I have not spoken? And while they looked
stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which
also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? He shall not return into the
land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return. And Jesus
cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus
said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And Jacob said, Thou shalt
not give me any thing: if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will again feed [and] keep thy
flock: I will pass through all thy flock to day, removing from thence all the speckled and
spotted cattle, and all the brown cattle among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the
goats: and [of such] shall be my hire. [is] not Hamath as Arpad? But when the cattle were
feeble, he put [them] not in: so the feebler were Laban’s, and the stronger Jacob’s. And when
the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments. But
the ark of God had David brought up from Kirjathjearim to [the place which] David had prepared
for it: for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem. Also every sickness, and every plague,
which [is] not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou
be destroyed. So they and their children [had] the oversight of the gates of the house of the
LORD, [namely], the house of the tabernacle, by wards. Wherefore then hast thou beguiled me?
Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father’s sake: [but] I will rend it
out of the hand of thy son. And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men,
saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not: And let fall also [some] of
the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave [them], that she may glean [them], and rebuke her
not. I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, [even] from good; and my sorrow was stirred. 1And
he built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar, both the floor of the house, and
the walls of the cieling: [and] he covered [them] on the inside with wood, and covered the floor
of the house with planks of fir. And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people,
that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns passed on before the LORD, and
blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them. When I shall
receive the congregation I will judge uprightly. Be not righteous over much; neither make
thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself? And the sons of Jehaleleel; Ziph, and
Ziphah, Tiria, and Asareel. And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their
princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers’ houses, [even]
twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron [was] among their rods. And his feet shall stand in that day
upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall
cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very
great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the
south. And they turned their faces, and said unto Micah, What aileth thee, that thou comest with
such a company? For the priests and the Levites were purified together, all of them [were] pure,
and killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the
priests, and for themselves. Pray without ceasing. He said unto him, Thou hast said. And it
shall be, when thou shalt hear a sound of going in the tops of the mulberry trees, [that] then
thou shalt go out to battle: for God is gone forth before thee to smite the host of the
Philistines. And he said unto him, We [are] passing from Bethlehemjudah toward the side of mount
Ephraim; from thence [am] I: and I went to Bethlehemjudah, but I [am now] going to the house of
the LORD; and there [is] no man that receiveth me to house. And he said to Abimelech, Increase
thine army, and come out. They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone
thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords. I will not go in. For thus saith
the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail,
until the day [that] the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. Servants, obey in all things [your]
masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart,
fearing God: And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing
that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, [and] brought bracelets, and
earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered [offered] an
offering of gold unto the LORD. So stood the two [companies of them that gave] thanks in the
house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me: And the priests; Eliakim,
Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, [and] Hananiah, with trumpets; And
Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer.
If thy whole body therefore [be] full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of
light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light. And when thou art come in,
thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels,
and thou shalt set aside that which is full. And the key of the house of David will I lay upon
his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. So
the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.
And he said, Lay ye them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate until the morning. Now the
body [is] not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. I will greatly
rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments
of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh
[himself] with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth [herself] with her jewels. The fear of the
LORD [is] clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD [are] true [and] righteous
altogether. And if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer
for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, [even] corn
beaten out of full ears. While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God
while I have any being. And what saddle soever he rideth upon that hath the issue shall be
unclean. Care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use [it] rather. And Gideon had
threescore and ten sons of his body begotten: for he had many wives. When thou art departed from
me to day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel’s sepulchre in the border of Benjamin at
Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found: and, lo,
thy father hath left the care of the asses, and sorroweth for you, saying, What shall I do for
my son? And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. Thy
testimonies [are] wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them. And the children of Israel wept
for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping [and] mourning for Moses
were ended. Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and
walk? Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was
crucified with him. And unto Absalom there were born three sons, and one daughter, whose name
[was] Tamar: she was a woman of a fair countenance. Thou shalt then say unto them, What burden?
And they proclaimed [it]. And it came to pass, when she came [to him], that she moved him to ask
of her father a field: and she lighted from off [her] ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wilt
thou? But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law
and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and
upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of
the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ
Jesus: Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his
righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To
declare, [I say], at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of
him which believeth in Jesus. Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have
destroyed, [as] Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which [were] in Telassar?
Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife
[see] that she reverence [her] husband. They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. Amon
[was] two and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned two years in Jerusalem. And
take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and
drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [so] that day come upon you unawares. And they said,
Seven. If my step hath turned out of the way, and mine heart walked after mine eyes, and if any
blot hath cleaved to mine hands; [Then] let me sow, and let another eat; yea, let my offspring
be rooted out. Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they [are] of men: let
them all be gathered together, let them stand up; [yet] they shall fear, [and] they shall be
ashamed together. There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with
mischief. And Abijah and his people slew them with a great slaughter: so there fell down slain
of Israel five hundred thousand chosen men. But Saul increased the more in strength, and
confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ. For thy servant
David’s sake turn not away the face of thine anointed. And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon
[each] row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, [even] an offering made by fire unto the
LORD. As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings [were] full
of eyes round about them four. But the children of Israel walked upon dry [land] in the midst of
the sea; and the waters [were] a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. Or [if]
I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and
beast from it: Though these three men [were] in it, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall
deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves. For I was
envious at the foolish, [when] I saw the prosperity of the wicked. And Esther set Mordecai over
the house of Haman. Pass ye over to Tarshish; howl, ye inhabitants of the isle. I have also
spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of
the prophets. And it came to pass, that when the Jews which dwelt by them came, they said unto
us ten times, From all places whence ye shall return unto us [they will be upon you]. But
Absalom pressed him, that he let Amnon and all the king’s sons go with him. But he, beckoning
unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out
of the prison. And others, tempting [him], sought of him a sign from heaven. But I have said
unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that
floweth with milk and honey: I [am] the LORD your God, which have separated you from [other]
people. And he said, I [am]. He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring
reed round about. Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall
spoil thee; because of men’s blood, and [for] the violence of the land, of the city, and of all
that dwell therein. And this [is] the charge of their burden, according to all their service in
the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the
pillars thereof, and sockets thereof, And the pillars of the court round about, and their
sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their
service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden. [How] thou
didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; [how] thou didst afflict the
people, and cast them out. I saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of
the side chambers [were] a full reed of six great cubits. But he answered and said unto him that
told him, Who is my mother? And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh;
go ye out to meet him. Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not
changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. [Is] not the whole
land before thee? And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought
an east wind upon the land all that day, and all [that] night; [and] when it was morning, the
east wind brought the locusts. Selah. And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and,
behold, it [be] not in sight deeper than the skin, and [that there is] no black hair in it; then
the priest shall shut up [him that hath] the plague of the scall seven days: And in the seventh
day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, [if] the scall spread not, and there be in
it no yellow hair, and the scall [be] not in sight deeper than the skin; He shall be shaven, but
the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up [him that hath] the scall seven days
more: And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, [if] the scall be
not spread in the skin, nor [be] in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce
him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean. Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go
away, and come [again] unto you. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto
him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. Behold, thou [art] fair, my love; behold,
thou [art] fair; thou [hast] doves’ eyes. Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in
Samaria the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned two years over Israel.
Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that
day, saith the Lord GOD: [there shall be] many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast
[them] forth with silence. Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. I have heard a
rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, [saying], Gather ye together,
and come against her, and rise up to the battle. And Joshua said unto the children of Israel,
How long [are] ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given
you? And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to Debir; and fought against it: And he took
it, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof; and they smote them with the edge of the
sword, and utterly destroyed all the souls that [were] therein; he left none remaining: as he
had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir, and to the king thereof; as he had done also to Libnah,
and to her king. And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth. Do unto them as
[unto] the Midianites; as [to] Sisera, as [to] Jabin, at the brook of Kison: [Which] perished at
Endor: they became [as] dung for the earth. That trusted in her treasures, [saying], Who shall
come unto me? And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt
among them. And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and
he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and
[there was] a javelin in Saul’s hand. I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see
him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful. For [there is] not a just man
upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son
of man, What is the vine tree more than any tree, [or than] a branch which is among the trees of
the forest? Thus saith the LORD; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this
word, And say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of
David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates: Thus saith the LORD;
Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor:
and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed
innocent blood in this place. And Jacob told Rachel that he [was] her father’s brother, and that
he [was] Rebekah’s son: and she ran and told her father. Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness
[is] good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies. Behold, the name of
the LORD cometh from far, burning [with] his anger, and the burden [thereof is] heavy: his lips
are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire: And his breath, as an overflowing
stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and
[there shall be] a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing [them] to err. Therefore say unto
the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn [yourselves] from your idols; and
turn away your faces from all your abominations. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh
profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.
Kness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day
terrify it. Then Jesus went with them. Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of
Onesiphorus. And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye
brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: Even unto the morrow
after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering
unto the LORD. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again. Of the children of
Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to
the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to
war; Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Zebulun, [were] fifty and seven
thousand and four hundred. Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her
son, and cast [it] at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband [art] thou to me. Take, I pray
thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and
because I have enough. He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those
that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. I the Preacher was king
over Israel in Jerusalem. And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very
plainly. But who may abide the day of his coming? And Absalom, whom we anointed over us, is dead
in battle. Let us stand together: who [is] mine adversary? Then came Jeremiah from Tophet,
whither the LORD had sent him to prophesy; and he stood in the court of the LORD’S house; and
said to all the people, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring
upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because
they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words. And other fell on good
ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and
some sixty, and some an hundred. And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, [which] hath
devoured her fruit, so that she hath no strong rod [to be] a sceptre to rule. And again he sent
another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated [him] shamefully, and sent [him] away
empty. And if his father have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman
that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of
Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses. For I have laid upon thee the years
of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt
thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. So he brought him into his house, and gave
provender unto the asses: and they washed their feet, and did eat and drink. And it came to pass
after two full years, that Absalom had sheepshearers in Baalhazor, which [is] beside Ephraim:
and Absalom invited all the king’s sons. And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun;
and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. So they went, and made the sepulchre sure,
sealing the stone, and setting a watch. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our
sins; and in him is no sin. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. For the
living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a
reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Their heart is as fat as grease; [but] I delight in
thy law. And the saying pleased me well: and I took twelve men of you, one of a tribe: And they
turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and searched it out.
And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? All fowls
that creep, going upon [all] four, [shall be] an abomination unto you. [Beware] lest Hezekiah
persuade you, saying, The LORD will deliver us. And the ark of God remained with the family of
Obededom in his house three months. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every
man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. I will call upon the LORD, [who is
worthy] to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. 1And all the guests that [were]
with Adonijah were afraid, and rose up, and went every man his way. But they hearkened not: and
Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the
children of Israel. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. Forbear to cry,
make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon
thy feet, and cover not [thy] lips, and eat not the bread of men. And David went on, and grew
great, and the LORD God of hosts [was] with him. For my love they are my adversaries: but I
[give myself unto] prayer. And the rest of the acts of Solomon, and all that he did, and his
wisdom, [are] they not written in the book of the acts of Solomon? Yea, he sent out his arrows,
and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them. Thou shalt fall upon the
mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that [is] with thee: I will give
thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and [to] the beasts of the field to be devoured. And
I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon
Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I [am] the LORD. Cast me not
off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth. And he did [that which was]
evil in the sight of the LORD, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made
Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom. And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your
young men for Nazarites. We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying
always for you, Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love [which ye have] to
all the saints, For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the
word of the truth of the gospel; Which is come unto you, as [it is] in all the world; and
bringeth forth fruit, as [it doth] also in you, since the day ye heard [of it], and knew the
grace of God in truth: As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a
faithful minister of Christ; Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit. By faith Moses,
when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw [he was] a proper child;
and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment. LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou?
For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. And there were voices, and thunders,
and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth,
so mighty an earthquake, [and] so great. And purify all [your] raiment, and all that is made of
skins, and all work of goats’ [hair], and all things made of wood. Then the word of the LORD
came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? And he made his
camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the time of the evening, [even] the
