LIST OF CLARIFICATIONS REQUIRED FROM M/s AREVA ON TRANSFORMER DRAWING

For 1MVA transformer, the centre line distance of roller foundation has undergone change with
respect to earlier transformer drawing. The same is not acceptable, since civil foundation drawing has
already been issued to site. The centre line distance of roller shall be kept as 1000mm as envisaged in
earlier drawing. Also, the overall limiting dimension for 1MVA, 2MVA & 25MVA transformer has
undergone change with respect to earlier transformer drawing. Civil foundation drawing of
transformer has already been issued to site for construction.

Party shall confirm the following limiting dimension for transformers as per earlier drawing:

For both 1MVA & 2MVA transformer, the rated voltage and current rating of HV bushing shall be
considered as 7.2kV, 400A as per earlier drawing.

For 2MVA transformer, NCT ratio shall be considered as 500/5A.

Maximum temperature rise in winding shall be considered as 450C over 500C ambient temperature.

There is some discrepancy in the total weight of transformer for 1MVA transformer furnished in GTP
and GA diagram.

In the rating name plate for 1MVA, 2MVA & 25MVA transformer the customer name shall be
corrected as M/s NINL.

Project drawing no. shall be corrected for each rating of transformer.
