BIODIVERSITY

We the human beings living in this country for me and to my fellow Filipino, I encourage
everyone to preserved our biodiversity or our own Mother Earth. In the picture when the first I
saw it, it’s very sad for me it’s just because many fish is dying because they sell it in the market.
They kill or hooked the fish to sell it in the market and as we can see there’s a lot of fish in which
it may destroy our ocean and our biodiversity as will that may cause Pollution, logging,
dredging, draining of wetlands, and coastal development are all factors that lead to marine
habitat destruction. Mother earth is the home for various species and a place where they can
coexist.  The term biodiversity is a combination of two words biological and diversity.   It means
diverse living organisms simultaneously sustain themselves in an ecosystem.

In practical actions is first Be an Ocean-Friendly Pet Owner with that it can help us to Avoid
stocking your aquarium with wild-caught saltwater fish, and never release any aquarium fish into
the ocean or other bodies of water, a practice that can introduce non-native species harmful to
the existing ecosystem. The second one is that Educate Yourself about Ocean, Marine Life and
Environment because we should keep it in our mind all life on Earth is connected to the ocean
and its inhabitants. The more you learn about the issues facing this vital system, the more you’ll
want to help ensure its health then share that knowledge to educate and inspire others and by
educating ourselves to protect our biodiversity is one of the most grateful and most important to
reduce pollution in our country.

The Political Actions that they should know or they should do especially it helps political actions
to our biodiversity and in our Environment. First is that Influence Change in Your Community
this is the first step that all politicians should do in our environment because they are the leader
in this country that may follow our fellow citizens by changing the way you use products and
resources you can prevent pollution and save money. Preventing pollution provides cleaner air
and water, less waste in landfills, conservation of natural resources, reduced soil erosion, lower
electricity and water bills, and increased property values. Prevention ahead of reduction the idea
that biodiversity and poverty are linked is a sound one. There is plenty of evidence that the rural
poor in developing countries rely on biodiversity for food, shelter, income, fuel, health, quality of
life and community. We also know that the poor are often hardest hit by biodiversity loss, as
they have few alternatives when local resources are lost or degraded. So biodiversity is an
important tool in poverty prevention, acting as a form of social protection in the absence of
formal welfare provisions. Conservation of biodiversity is vital for maintaining the
Earth’s environment and sustaining life on the planet.

There are a number of ways in which the richness of biodiversity helps in maintaining the
ecological system. Conservation of biodiversity is important for the survival of living beings on
Earth. Hence, a lot of emphases are being given on the conservation of biodiversity these days.
Earth is a beautiful planet which has given us many things which occur naturally. Natural
resources, rivers, valleys, oceans, different species of animals and beautiful varieties
of plants and trees are among some of these. In today’s world, we are busy developing our
surroundings and spoiling our beautiful environment. Today, we have exploited most of the
things that were available abundantly in nature. Thus, there arises a need to conserve these
natural things. Among other things, there is a serious need for the conservation of biodiversity.
Conservation of biodiversity is of utmost importance. We must all make efforts to conserve
biodiversity rather than contributing towards its declination. Thus, the richness of biodiversity is
essential for the survival of living beings on Earth.

Helping each other to preserve our biodiversity is one of best practices that everyone will
prosper. We all know that protecting biodiversity can cut poverty, but policymakers need to give
the poor more control of resources that it can may help each Filipino to focus on preserving our
biodiversity and our mother’s earth as well. In protecting our biodiversity it start to us in every
individual and we all know it is the best practice by preserving our Mother Earth and Marine Life
because this earth is not ours, we don’t own this earth we are just given a chance to take good
care of this and God let us borrowed for what we see in our surroundings and we are the one
who will handle it with care and not abuse all the living things and non-living things in the this
earth. PRACTICE YOURSELF TO PROTECT OUR BIODIVERSITY. CHANGE FOR A
BETTER ENVIRONMENT!
