Cultural Belonging
● I come from a Hispanic family. Both of
my parents are from Mexico and both
lineages trace back to Spain.

● Because of this, Spanish was my

first language and I didn’t even learn
English until I started school!
● Hispanic culture always focuses
*Not even half of my extended on family values. We enjoy huge
family! get togethers with lots of food and
music.
Life Experiences
Being in the Army and working as an EMT has definitely given
me some interesting life experiences. Whether it be
interacting with people I’d never even think I’d be friend with,
to working alongside them in difficult situations. These
experiences helped shaped the morals, values, and worldview
that I have today.
Worldview
-As I said before, my world view
was heavily shaped by my time
spent as an EMT and in the Army.
Some of the values I hold close to
me are Integrity, Honor,
Perseverance, Strength, and
Honesty.

-Because of my Hispanic
heritage I also hold Family in
high esteem.
Cultural Artifacts
Just some other things I find important!
