§1 - Introduction

• This manual forms a quick user’s guide for the wheelchair lift DH-CH100 series
equipped with 4-button remote control (option OWE003 to Australian standards).

• This manual outlines the particular user and safety instructions for above
mentioned lift in this execution. It must be read together with the general user’s
manual with regards to the safety instructions for the operator (chapter A), the
periodic maintenance (chapter B), and the legal requirements regarding period
testing and certification (chapter C).

• In order to ensure the safety of the operator, and occasional bystanders,


the use of the lift is strictly reserved to skilled operators, who have been
duly trained, who know and understand the full content of this manual.

• Negligence can put the operator and third parties at great risk. In case of doubt,
stop immediately, and ask advice from DHOLLANDIA prior to continuing.

§2 - Electrical controls

• The DH-CH100 series… with option OWE003 is operated by a 4-button remote control with spiral cable, with a dedicated button
assigned to each function.

• The table below show the symbols used for the various lift functions, and the corresponding button to be pressed on the 4-button
remote control to activate each function.

§3– User instructions step by step

The wheelchair lift DH-CH100… series must be operated as follows:

§3.a– Deploying the platform

§3.b– Loading & unloading

2– Use the controls to LOWER the platform from the bus floor to the ground. The bridge plate will
automatically raise upon departure of the platform off the bus floor.

3– Use the controls to LIFT the platform from the ground to the bus floor. The bridge plate will automatically
drop down upon arrival of the platform at the bus floor.

4– The roll-stop will automatically drop

• When lifting or lowering wheelchair occupants on the platform, it is important
that the outboard roll-stop and inboard roll-stop (= bridge plate) is securely
raised in vertical position.

• If an unsafe condition exists, DO NOT use the lift, and contact an authorized
DHOLLANDIA service agent for repair, prior to further use.

§3.c– Stowing the platform into its travel position
