Dear Lord and Father of all,
Thank you for today, for Your protection and
love. Thank you for ways in which you provide
for us all. Help us to focus our hearts and minds
now on what we are about to learn. Inspire us by
Your Holy Spirit as we listen and write. Guide us
by your eternal light as we discover more about
the world around us. We ask all this in the name
of Jesus. Amen.

Communication breakdown

– Communication breakdown happens when the message


or feedback is not sent or received properly.
– The conversation got cut off because of poor signal.
– Causes of communication breakdown is classified as
NOISE.
Types of
noise
Physical noise
- comes from the
environment
Psychological
Noise
– Originates from
the emotional
state, mental state
and psychological
make up of a
person
(depression,
anxiety, biases).
Physiological noise
–Bodily conditions that
compromise the
ability of a person to
receive or send
messages (hunger,
stomachache).
Semantic noise
– Anything that is related
to a meaning of words
that distorts or masks a
message and confuses the
listener (speaker’s use of
foreign language,
listener’s limited
vocabulary)
