Methodology
the Plan
1. Prayer and Greetings
2. Checking of attendance and class rules
Procedure
Instruct the learners to show perseverance in doing all the
activities given.

First off: Subject Integration English – Music – ICT – Real life

Application.
Activity
Play a musical piece of “POWER OF THE DREAM” and let the
students listen the song and let them pick a line, phrase, or
word that makes them inspired and let them explain it
profoundly in front of the class and let them get the message
of the musical piece.

Analysis Second off: ARTS and Real – life application and

Differentiated Instruction.

Group the leaners into ten and Show a certain graph of a

polynomial function and ask the learners to say something
about the graph being presented that are connected to the
real world. One group will explain in a literal way while the
into more profound way..
After which, let each group analyze the picture/graph being
presented. And give additional input on how to graph
polynomial function, it uses in real world, its behavior.

Review on the definition of Polynomial Function.

Discuss the following:
a. leading term
b. end behaviors
c. x - intercepts ; points on the x -axis
d. multiplicity of roots
e. y - intercept; point on the y - axis
f. number of turning points
After sharing their answers;
Ask:
Polynomial Function:
A polynomial function is a function of the form

Abstraction
Important concepts on graphing polynomial functions:
1. the intercepts
2. the degree and the sign of the leading coefficient
3. the multiplicity of the roots
4. the turning points

Let each group graph the given function and present it on the
board. Use GEOGEBRA SOFTWARE – ICT INTEGRATION

1. f ( x )=( x−2 )( x +1 )
2. f ( x )=( x−2 )( x +1 )( x +3 )
Application 3. f ( x )=( x−2 )( x +1 )( x +3 )
4. f ( x )=x ¿
5. f ( x )=(x+ 1)(x +3)( x−2)
6. f ( x )=(x+ 2)(x +1)( x−1)(x −2)
7. f ( x )=(x+ 2)(x +1)(x−1)(x −2)

Paper and Pencil test:

Graph the following functions
1. f ( x )=( x−1 )( x +1 )
2. f ( x )=( x−2 )( x +1 )( x + 4 )
Assessment 3. f ( x )=( x ) ( x+1 ) ( x+ 3 )
4. f ( x )=x ¿
5. f ( x )=(x+ 2)(x +3)(x−2)
6. f ( x )=(x−1)( x+1)(x−1)
7. f ( x )=(x+ 1)(x−1)( x−2)

Log their learning about this concept.
