Creating an Infographic Name:

You need to create an infographic text. Remember to consider the purpose of the topic.

➔ You will write about the book read in class. You must include a flow chart to give a
general plot summary

➔ You must include the book, author’s name, plot summary. You must also discuss one
theme in the book and why it is important and how it adds to the books literary value.

Make sure you….

❏ Organize your infographic with your purpose in mind
❏ Use only the most important and relevant information to your topic
❏ Think carefully about color choice and font choice → attractive and easy to read!
❏ It shouldn’t be too cluttered nor should it have too much white space
❏ Choose relevant graphic text features- charts, diagrams, graphs, text boxes,
headings, shapes, etc.
❏ If you choose a topic that requires any information not already in your brain- YOU
MUST CITE with a footnote at the bottom of your infographic
