) The scope and coverage

The scope and coverage of the Descriptive research named "Employee


satisfaction and HR practice" is all about the different factors that can affect the job
satisfaction through different HR practices, what are the impacts of it and to generalize
the attitude of the employees toward the company. While the scope and coverage of the
Explaratory research named "Consumer Perception of Online Behavior" is all about how
the consumers view the online behavioral advertising in websites and online aplication
and their knowledge about the online advertising.

2.) Methodology

- Sampling method and procedure

The sampling method and procedure used by the Descriptive research


named "Employee satisfaction and HR practice" is a simple random sampling while the
other one used Stratified sampling.

- Number of respondents

The number of respondents from the descriptive research are much more
compare to the explaratory research's respondents. The number of respondents from
the Descriptive research named "Employee satisfaction and HR practice" are a total of
eighty one respondents and all of them are Employees of the said company while the
number of respondents from the Explaratory research named "Consumer Perception of
Online Behavior" are a total of thirteen that came from different palces like Germany,
China, Spain and Denmark.
- Data gathering procedure

The Descriptive research named "Employee satisfaction and HR practice" used a


Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test while the Explaratory research named "Consumer
Perception of Online Behavior" used a semi-structured interviews.

- Data gathering tool

The Descriptive research named "Employee satisfaction and HR practice" used a


likert-scale questionnaire to gather data from the respondents consisting of 21
questions. While the Explaratory research named "Consumer Perception of Online
Behavior" used an open-ended questionairre.

- Types of acquired data

The Descriptive research named "Employee satisfaction and HR practice"


acquired qualitative and binary data while the Explaratory research named "Consumer
Perception of Online Behavior" acquired qualitative data alone.

- Statistical techniques/tools

The Descriptive research named "Employee satisfaction and HR practice" used a


regression analysis, I think, to determine what factors matter most and how these
factors influence each other and also used ANOVA (Analysis of Variance). While the
Explaratory research named "Consumer Perception of Online Behavior" used
correlation, I think.
3.) Results and Discussions

The Results and discussions of the explaratory research was more broad
compare to the descriptive research. The descriptive research findings was directly
stated meanwhile the explaratory research's findings was briefly explained and used a
figure or model to clearly presents the data collected.
