1. How are shapes used in establishing compositional balance in a work of art?


As it said, mediums are the materials which the artist uses to translate his feelings
or thought into a beautiful reality. In real world, We cannot just translate of express
our imaginable expression by just describing it.
Shapes is the mass and base of the form of the expression of an artist. It creates
balance for the art at helps to translate the meaning of the idea. It will be a great
help for the artist to portray or express the idea of the artist.

2. How does texture as an element of art enhance the surface effects of any shape
of art work?
Texture is an element of art that helps the piece to be more defined by the
audience.
If there will be no texture, the audience will might have a difficulty to define it. In
addition to it, texture helps the form to be more unique & interesting.

3. Why is space considered the most important element of architecture?


Space is the medium of architecture. It enables us to project the idea of the design
of the architect. A lot is a space, without the space we cannot project the design
concept. Without space there will be no form to be made.

4. How can an artist establish balance in the visual arts?


As an artist, we can established balance in different ways. We can establish the
balance in colors thru tones and values. Through the volume of the compositions by
defining it as symmetrical and unsymmetrical , and through the story of the
subjects. All in all can be defined through the good perception of the eye.

5. What are the elements of visual art?


There are six elements of visual art. First is the line which defines as a mark, length
and direction. Color defined as the light formed as it reflects from a specific pigment
through to our eyes. Value or the lightness and darkness of an object. Shape as the
enclosed area defined and determined by other art elements. Form as in a 3-
dimentional. And lastly the space or the distance of the area between, around,
above, below or withing things.

6. How does music differ from other arts?


Music is under auditory or time arts are those mediums that can be heard and which
are expressed in time. Basically, music deals with sound. The medium of music is
the sound produced by man and the human voice and by most musical instruments.
The musical instruments which have a vibrator, a resonator, and system for
producing and regulating fixed pitches are grouped into four main types – stringed,
woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments.

7. Why is emphasis important in any arrangement of the elements of art? How is it


achieved in art?

Emphasis is very important in all types of art. It helps to determine the true
meaning of the piece. Examples are: the mysterious smile of Mona Lisa by Leonardo
Da Vinci, The apple of David by Micheal Angelo, The eyes of Satan by Micheal
Angelo, the tourch of the Statue of Liberty. Emphasis is a very interesting detail of
an art because in that piece of object of an art, It defines the whole story of the
piece behind it.

8. What is the importance of line in creating a visual art?


Line acts as the framework of visual arts. In order to create a shape, you have to
create lines for the subject. The line which defines as a mark, length and direction.
If you want to create an action for a subject you have to orient it first to every point
of its parts.

9. How is value achieved in art?


As an artist, in order for me to achieve it is to apply sympathy or empathy to your
piece. Determining your objective creates its value. An artist should have a mutual
relationship specially to the subject and should also relate to its viewers. And also
putting your dedication to the subject adds its value.

10.How may proportion work out in the visual art?


Proportion is the relationships the eye makes with, between the size, shape, and
tone of various objects or parts of a composition. This deal between the parts of

an object and the whole object. This also deal between the parts of an object and
the whole object. If an artist applied this type of method. The piece would be
pleasing to the eyes of the viewers.
