Pull up YouTube video to 2:06 to show northern lights picture. their names on the paper

Have students pick a 3 pieces of chalk to create their own northern lights. *be sure to have wipes
- have kids rub chalk all over their pages, hand out Kleenex to assist in the for students to wipe
smudging of the chalk to mix colours or blur edges hands clean after chalk
work.
Have students create 5 oval or circular shapes on variety of scrapbook paper
chunks. Allow creative freedom for shapes of rocks (need to create minimum *students time to

- once shapes are traced on the scrapbook paper, have them cut out their depending skill level
shapes and arrange on their paper.
