    GUIDELINES FOR THE ONLINE LESSONS IN NIHONGO 1

    THE USES OF PARTICLE GA

    The GA particle is use with a NOUN and together with the following words we can create the ff meanings:

    NOUN + GA + ARIMASU (that something exists)


    NOUN + GA + ARIMASEN (that something does not exists)
    NOUN + GA + IMASU (that there is a living thing somewhere)
    NOUN + GA + IMASEN (that there is no living thing that exists somewhere)
    WEEK 1 NOUN + GA + SUKI DESU (that you like something/someone)
    (MARCH 16-20) NOUN + GA + KIRAI DESU. (that you hate something/someone)
    NOUN + GA + TAISETSU DESU. (that something/someone is important)

    ACTIVITY 1: COMPOSE TWO SENTENCES FOR EACH USES OF GA AND WRITING THEM IN HIRAGANA THEN

    Example: There is a Mcdo in front of SM Manila.
    SM Manila no MAE NI Mcdo GA ARIMASU. (Mcdo is nonliving thing)

    There is a teacher at the back of Mcdo.


    Mcdo no USHIRO NI sensei GA IMASU. (Teacher is living thing)

    ACTIVITY 2: COMPOSE SAMPLE SENTENCES USING THE NINE LOCATIONS. SAME PROCEDURE AS ALWAYS:
    COMPOSE, WRITE IN HIRAGANA (HANDWRITTEN), TAKE PICTURE, THEN SEND THRU EMAIL.
