 GENERAL SCOPE & SPECIFICATIONS FOR BELT CONVEYORS

The Belt Conveyors offered generally include following: -

(i) DRIVE UNIT

Inline Helical Geared Motor and Coupling mounted on MS fabricated drive base frame shall be provided.

(ii) IDLERS<Confirming
<Confirming to IS 8598>

All types of idlers i.e. Carrying & Return.

Idlers shall be fitted with SIEZE RESISTANT BALL BEARING. Idlers shall be life-lubricated
lubricated type.

Idlers shall be made with ERW pipe. Idler shafts shall be of EN8 or equal material.

(iii) PULLEYS (STATICALLY BALANCED) <Confirming to IS 8531>

All types of pulleys i.e., Head & Tail.

Pulleys shall be complete with Bearings & Plummer Blocks. Head pulleys shall be with 10 mm thk
vulcanized rubber lagging. All pulleys shall be statically balanced.

(vi) TAKE-UP

Suitable Take-up
up shall be provided.

(vii) TECHNOLOGICAL STRUCTURE

Stringer, Short Support, Head Frame, Tail Frame, Drive Base Frame, Screw Type Take Up etc. shall be
provided.

(xi) BELTING

Conveyor belting as mentioned in technical data shall be provided.

(xii) PAINTING

All Structure shall be given 2 coats of red oxide primer& one coat of finish enamel paint

1. All Civil Works including foundation bolt & Electrical & Instrumentation.

2. Electrical & Instrumentation (MCC Panel, Power cable, Cable tray, control cable)

3. Lodging & boarding for Erection supervisor shall be provide by client with no extra cost
