I am Shiela Marie Magsayo, nineteen years old a second year student of J.H Midsalip campus
in getting a course of AB-English. I am a representative in Student Supreme Council and ROTC officer
in my first year college. My favourite subject is philosophy and my favourite sport is swimming. I am
not a fast learner student, and my weaknesses are reading and debating. Because in reading I am
lack of comprehensive and debating because I’m not good of reasoning. And, I also love to speak
English even my grammatical is wrong.
2. What is your course/major and why did you choose this course/major?
I expect to learn something very meaningful in line with this subject, despite how hard the
situation is. It may be a bumpy ride for some of us but we are still hoping for the best.
4. In this pandemic, professors and students alike should be aware about proper health protocols in
the school setting. Site some of these health protocols.
● Wear a facemask to cover your mouth and nose when around others specially in public area.
● avoid close contact with people who are sick, and practise social distancing by keeping at least 6
feet away from others if you must go in public.
5. As a college student, what can you contribute to our community amidst the pandemic?
As a college student, adjustment is not easy but since it’s a global issue all I have to do is to
follow protocols mandated by the health management and the government. Though everyone felt
upset because of this pandemic, embracing and accepting this new normal trend is a good way to
continue what I’ve started as a student. Not just following safety measure guidelines is my
responsibility but also helping the community to be a COVID-free place by helping telling those
people who are unaware of the following protocols.
