Faith
Some people think that a man becomes becomes
Muslim only when he recites kalma and believes in
oneness of Almighty Allah and in Muhammad PBUH as
his last messenger. But this is very away from the true
meaning of faith in Islam. The full meaning of faith is
that Islam is not by any means some formality that you
just have to believe in Almighty Allah and his
messenger PBUH,but no you have to apply yourself to
the Sunnah of the Prophet PBUH. Faith in Islam means
a state of happiness achieved by virtue of positive
action only by doing what has been told to do in Islam
like praying , zakat , hajj , no foul transactions in
business as well as behaving in a good manner to your
fellow humans. According to Islam, true faith has has a
very deep effect on the spiritual and physical self and
also on personal and behaviour in social society,
financial transactions as well.
Ibaadaat

Something that should be understood by all is that five pillars

of Islam are not all of what Islam is. Pillars are only the walls
holding up the building, thats why pillars are very important.
However, pillars are not the building but only a part of the
building. Ibadaat in Islam does not just mean, what to we
Muslims do in the masjid, ibaadat can also include what we
may do in our homes, work places, or even in the market. In
this manner if one’s job is carried out with fear of Allah then
it will be considered as ibadaat.
Zakat
Zakat holds a great place in Islam, it is made obligation on
Muslims to pay zakat. Zakat is one of 5 pillars of Islam, these
pillars help a Muslim live Their life according to Islam. It is
mandatory for those who are wealthy enough that they pay
zakat. Zakat means to purify ones wealth. People who are
rich they are bound to pay zakat to the poor so they can have
basic things of life. Zakat is collected because to help those in
the society who are in the need of money.
Salah
Salah also called namaz is one of the pillars of Islam. It is a
obligation on Muslims to pray five times a day. There are five
prayers that a Muslim should perform everyday they are, Fajr
, zuhr , asr , maghrib , isha. However there are many other
salahs Muslims can perform voluntarily but these five are the
the obligatory on every man or woman. The main purpose of
Salah is that Muslims maintain their faith and devotion to
Allah and to be close with Allah in day to day life.
Fast

The main idea of fasting is that we remain close to Allah and

away from evil deeds and controlling our thoughts and
desires. Fasting is a very spiritual practice which is meant to
benefit us in body, mind, heart. In fast we should avoid
irrelevant things and do our Salah and zikr shouldn’t speak
without reason. Fasting generates will power in mind so that
if we need to control our selves in any other situation than
that will help us be in control of ourselves. It is also an
obligation on Muslims to fast in the month of ramazan and it
is one of five pillars of Islam.

Hajj

Hajj is also one of the five pillars of Islam . It is a pilgrimage to

Makkah that every Muslim must make once in their lives if
they are able to do so. At the heart of city Makkah is Kaaba,
when we pray we face ourselves towards the direction of
kaba. Muslims from all over the world make their journey to
Makkah to perform hajj you will find every kind of person
there. Hajj involves rituals that take place over s period of 5
to 6 days one of them is that tawaf in which Muslims walk
around the kaba 7 times. Hajj is seen as to wipe sins.
Morality

Truth
The protection of social order lies on every member of the
society. Such as to everyone should speak truth because if
you speak truth than you have nothing to worry about and if
you lie and then get in trouble that would be a problem so it
is always good to speak the truth. Islam says to speak truth
because it already solves your problems.
To be thankful
Islam teaches us to always be thankful of you whatever you
have. There are many people the world they don’t even half
of what you have. If one is thankful of what he has then he
will think that whatever I have is given by Allah so should be
thankful for whatever I have.
Justice
Justice should always be number one priority in terms of any
illegal activity under the societies. If one man has done some
corruption then he should be judged and given a punishment
under the justice system of Islam. And if one man has been
wrongly accused of some activity that he did not do then he
be brought to justice and be declared free lf those
allegations.

Nikkah
In islam before nikkah you have to propose to a woman or to
ask her family her hand in marriage. And the husband is
asked to mahr for the bride. Mahr must be agreed by
husband and wife and not by thier parents. The nikkah
ceremony should be simple and should be carried on without
any distractions

Divorce

Both husband and wife have their legal and religion rights to
divorce the other companion. When the wife or the husband
want divorce then the husband sends notice written to the
union council also writing the address of his ex wife. Then the
council sends a copy of the notice to wife and the wife has to
reply that notice them after some time the divorce is
effective. A verbal divorce is not recognised by law and
husband’s failure to send notice to the union council makes
the divorce ineffective.
Neighbors
We should always take care of our neighbors. Islam teaches
us that if our neighbors are in some trouble then we go and
see if we can provide some help. And if it is a time of a eid
then we should take some food that we have made and gibe
them some food some sweets or maybe some clothes. If our
neighbors are ill then we should go and ask them about their
health. This grows our love for each and every member of
our society, it brings Harmony among ourselves.
Parents
Our parents provided us with everything they had, they
bought us clothes, they sent us to school, gave us food, gave
us a house to live under. We are indebted to our parents we
could never repay them ever they have given us everything
they had so it is children’s duty that now that their parents
are older they should take care of them. It becomes an
obligation on us Muslims to show our unconditional
kindness, love, respect, to our parents. Just like we can never
repay Allah for everything he has given us just like that we
can never repay our parents. The thing which we can do it to
be obedient to them and take care of them when they are
old.

Business
Islamic ethics give a teaching to its followers that guard your
behaviour, thinking , intentions and observe moral codes in
their business. Islam has it’s own ethical system of business
transactions, some payments which are deemed as haram
and some are called as halal. The haram payments are
prohibited, even if there is your speculation that there is
some illegal haram money in the business you were going to
buy, but now you have speculation so you should not buy the
business as haram money may be involved in it. Things like
bribe, gambling, are prohibited. Because they involve illegal
haram money which is a very grave sin for muslims.

Loan
It is highly essential that in the loan the quantity of the
property and its type and the period of the loan is known
before agreement. Just like that the lender and the borrower
both be mature and sane and that they engage in this act of
loan by themselves voluntarily and not by some blackmail.
Islamic State

Jihad
Jihad can refer to any effort that a believer makes to make
his relationship better with Allah, Such as fighting your own
evil thoughts. Jihad can be carried four ways by the way of
heart, by the way of the tongue, by the way of hand, by the
way of the sword. Jihad is Believer’s internal fight to follow
the Islamic faith as well as he can. It also means Holy War if
there is a grave danger then you can defend Islam with
swords. There is a misconception about jihad today because
some extremists groups use the word jihad in a wrong
meaning and go spread terrorism and then call it jihad. Jihad
is to fight but not like that it is to fight if totally necessary to
defend yourself.

Defence
Islam only allows use of force in terms of self defense. A
muslim has to defend himself, it is not okay for him to
consume something that will harm him, if a person attacks
him, he has to defend himself and if he is killed then he will
be a shaheed and the killer will be a grave sinner headed to
hell. And if he knows that the harm from this attack is little
and he gives up defence for the love of Allah then certainly
Allah will reward him for that.

To stop evil
It a Muslim’s duty to stop an evil action. If a Muslim goes
around the streets and sees an evil action(gambling) being
commited by someone in the neighborhood then it is his duty
to go and talk to them and tell them that this is a wrong
doing and people should not gamble. Because gambling is a
grave sin in islam. But shaytan sometimes slips negative
thoughts in our minds that lead us to do some evil things. So
we should be careful and do not indulge in any evil activity
and if we see some evil activity we should stop them if not by
tongue then by hand if not by hand then by heart.
