Panoli suggestions:

 We have to make our long term arrangement for proper staying and fooding facility so that
we may retain labourer in the coming months.
 Incentive for the labourer like food packet for their home having Minimum raw grocery and
some monetary earnings.
 As other industries will open in few days then there are many circumstances that labour may
move to other industries due to shortage of labour in everywhere. Industry may provide
some other attractions too, which we do not know now. We all have to think about retaining
these workers with us.
 Incentive to the all factory personnel who has attended factory in this situation and working
hard for production & dispatches. On the top, we have to provide them some appreciation
letter individually to keep motivated.
 To improve and sustain quality , we need to change culture by implement TQM . Changing
culture means changing habits of the people and it is a TOP down approach so commitment
is very very important for TM. As TQM is a journey and results may be seen only after 3-5
years time.
 This year, we should concentrate ourselves only for implementing 5-S, IMS, PDCA approch
and Daily Management. Other quality & management tools like QC Circles, VSM,
Benchmarking, , FMEA method, TPM process capability assessment, scientific and stastical
approach to solve problems etc etc will be done later on. But all tools needs to be
implemented within a 3-5 years span of time.
 Also to maintain quality of the product, R & D has to take more interest in Factories quality
issues and make SOP so that deviation does not happen as due to various coding of material
many times factory people has no idea how to upkeep the quality if something goes wrong
and even during CAPA process, Engineers/ chemist cannot think about coded RM effect on
product.
 We understand that many of the non- performer has to be replaced and we need right
people at various place so we have to do some of these within next six month time.
 To making improvement in productivity we must run our plant in full swing rather making
less production so that losses can be avoided in term of consumption of Fuel & Electricity
and especially reduction in loss in %age of RM consumption.
 As per last many years senerio, we would have lost sales of various products so we have to
decide our own to have a minimum inventory of our key FG to cater immediate need of
market at factory level or depot level.
 For implementing lean culture and as per 07 big wastages in any system, Inventory is a large
waste, we can optimise these and reduce inventory at every level whether it is RM, PM,
Engineering parts, FG etc. Every industry invest 60-70%. Here we can save big cost. We need
to take a call for the Inventory of RM, PM kept at factory so that it can be converted in Cash
and make space for new stock.
 We have to decide for TPA immediately so that we may move our permanent type casual
employees to TPA. This is the correct time to have TPA as minimum job opportunity in the
market and people movement from casual to TPA will be easy.
 However it is suggested that we may avoid training of employees this year but In my
opinion, this is the best time, when we can train our employees as now various training
institute / trainer have started their training web based, with very cost efficient say 50-60%
less charges. We can take this opportunity to train our employees, wherever necessary.
